Granite Cabin sits on a private stretch of Granite Lake shoreline just outside Annandale — a classic Minnesota lake community about 65 miles west of Minneapolis. The moment you pull in off the wooded driveway and catch your first glimpse of the water, the week’s noise starts to fade.

The cabin itself is full of character: knotty pine walls and ceilings, a decorative stone fireplace that anchors the living room, an open-concept kitchen and dining area, and a sunroom wrapped in windows with nothing but lake as far as you can see. It’s a three-bedroom layout with room to spread out — a queen bedroom with a peaceful view, a bunk room the kids will claim immediately, and a cabin bedroom upstairs with yellow walls and soft light filtering off the water.

Outside, a private dock extends out over the water — ready for swimming, fishing, or just sitting with a cup of coffee and watching the morning come in. There’s a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs for evenings that don’t want to end, and a public boat launch just minutes away if you’re trailering a boat.

Annandale is a real small town — a bakery, a hardware store, a few good restaurants, and people who wave. It’s the kind of place you might wander into for morning pastries and end up staying an hour. The surrounding Wright County lakes region is built for slow weekends: fishing, paddling, pontoon rides, and long meals with no particular timeline.

Minneapolis and St. Paul are about an hour away when you need them — but honestly, you won’t.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Drinking water: Filtered water is available for drinking from the dispenser in the kitchen (5-gal refills can be found in utility room); the well water is best for non-drinking uses
- Terrain: The lawn features some natural uneven terrain — please take care when walking outside, especially after dark.
- Smoke-Free Space – No smoking indoors. A $300 cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected.
- No Parties or Events – Day visitors and small get-togethers are welcome. Large parties, events, or anything that causes extra mess, damage, or disturbs neighbors are not allowed.
- Guest List – Only registered guests are allowed unless previously discussed and approved.
- Quiet Hours – Please keep noise to a minimum from 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Water Safety – The dock and lake are for guest use at your own risk. Children near the water should be supervised at all times.
- Fireplace – The stone fireplace is decorative and not available for guest use.
- Pets – Pets are not allowed on this property. Thank you for your understanding.
- Security - Exterior cameras are located at the front of the home and toward the backyard/lake for security. No cameras are inside the home.

SEPTIC SYSTEM
This property uses a septic system, so all household water drains into a tank with a finite capacity. We kindly ask that you use water conservatively during your stay.
