'Rustig afgelegen resort aan heel groot strand. Niet echt zwemwater ivm tij, wel snorkelen verder in de zee. Mooi zwembad en prima restaurant. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Hier en daar wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar verder een fijne verblijfplek.'

Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it. The bungalows are well appointed with excellent air conditioning (much needed), the grounds are filled with interesting plants having been designed and planted by the owners and everything is immaculate. The bar and restaurant area are imaginately designed and the menu delivered by a talented young chef they lured from Tana. He has his own ideas based on Malagasy and international cuisine and quite frankly, having spent 7 weeks in Mada, it’s the best food...

' We had a fantastic stay at the Veronika. The staff make this resort incredibly special. Everyone was so friendly & kind it felt like home for the 6 nights we were there. Our room was kept very clean by the lovely cleaning ladies, the whole place was immaculate. 'la chambre, la piscine dont nous avons bien profité sous la pluie diluvienne , ne pouvant aller visiter Diego! le personnel très à l'écoute/ en effet nous devions aller à Diego pour visiter et dîner mais devant la pluie incessante, nous sommes restés dîner sur place, soirée très détendue avant retour Tana pour une mission.'
