'The Breakfast was small and unsatisfying. One very small egg a piece of toast and two TINY slices of watermelon. No other choices. The pool was dirty as the filters were not working and the water was a foot low.'

'As a regular staying at Essentia in Dumaguete, Charos dormitel is a breath of fresh air !! Outstanding room, staff, restaurant and not so many guests (not crowded like Essentia) ! I agree with other travelers reviews now ! This was a 5 star experience for one night stay. Definitely will return in the near future😀 '

'We got a downgrade for our reservation, because something went wrong with the booking and the superior room want available for one night. Only the didn't refund or give any about compensation. The staff is nice only the owner makes you feel not really welcome. And the rooms are really noisy because of a rooster and dogs next door that made us stay a wake all most all night. Things you won't expect from a good hotel.....'

'The biggest thing was they did not have anywhere to put clothes. Only a makeshift closet inside the bathroom. Food had to be pre-ordered because they did not keep much on hand. They were friendly and kind, so I have no complaints about the people working there . I had made reservations for 24 days left after the first and was not given any type of a refund for the rest of the month. Was not happy about that since it was mostly because of the conditions of the room '
