'Room was very clean and tidy. It is only a mile or 2 outside of Bayfield. The units are private in the woods but are close to the highway so you do hear a light bit of traffic. There is a fan in the room and we travel with a sleep noise maker so was not an issue. Price is reasonable for the area and I would stay hear again.'

'Location was great. Fantastic walking trails. Only had one hair dryer and night light for 2 bed/2 bath chalet. We had to ask for iron and ironing board which was a listed amenity, but owners brought one to us very quickly. An alarm started beeping in the middle of the night. It took us 2 hours to find and turn off the carbon monoxide monitor. Owners should proactively replace batteries in alarms on a regular basis to avoid this inconvenience for their guests.'

'This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, '

'We booked at the last minute due to wanting to avoid camping in bad weather. Host contacted us quickly and condo was clean and ready for us. It was a great location for exploring the Bayfield area and had everything we needed. '

'we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!'
