Mooi hotel, wel een beetje verouderd hier en daar. Nadeel: alle andere gasten waren van Russische afkomst. Jammer dat het niet meer verdeelt is qua nationaliteit.

nice and quiet, staff is great
Nice luxury resort, good breakfast buffet, different restaurant options available in and around. Everything is ridiculously expensive like 4 euro for an espresso, which about tenfold of what you pay downtown. But when going to such a resort, it is not unexpected. Although only 4 years old, some wear and tear is already visible. This is pity for such a high class establishment. Staff is extremely helpfull and friendly, worthy of a 5 star hotel.

Leuk hotel aan het strand met een aantal zwembaden
Prima familiehotel met ruime kamers en net, vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt is uitstekend met veel keuze. Het dineerbuffet is redelijk; maar je kunt beter al-la-carte eten want dan bestel je wat je graag wilt eten en het is goedkoper. Vier buitenzwembaden zijn niet verwarmd en eentje wel. Het hotel biedt vele uitstapjes en tegen een redelijke prijs zoals bijvoorbeeld met een glasbodemboot naar het rif.

Dankzij nieuw management Super hotel!
De enige plaats in Jordanië waar we heel wat Nederlands hebben horen praten. Vol met Belgen en Nederlanders. Niet verwonderlijk als je de kwaliteit en de variatie van het eten in overweging neemt! Erg behulpvolle koks die met persoonlijke diëten (lookallergie) rekening houden en zelfs persoonlijke potjes voor je koken.

Not worth the money
Disappointed and not worth the money - the resort is really outdated and needs some serious love. Our room had a smell, the shower felt dirty and a lot of features barely worked (lights not working, tv had no sound etc). Advertised a swim up bar but this was closed off and looked like it had never been open. For the price we paid I wish we’d stayed elsewhere as this was not worth the money at all

My superior room had a nice sunset view overlooking the main pool. Very good. Gated community with focus on security. Was able to check-in a little earlier than I should. Swimming pools are a big plus and there are many of them. Separate one for adults only. Breakfast selection OK. WiFi connection OK. Unfortunately some drawbacks with this hotel. I found ants in my room every day. The first two days I had no hot water. The aircondition was very loud (even on Low), so I had to turn it off during nights.

Pleasant staff. Lovely comfortable spacious upper floor room and comfy bed and balcony with a view of the sea. Decor and fittings in need of upgrade (shabby cushions on the balcony, crooked door on the fridge cupboard). Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Great selection of pools, lovely gardens and little shops. Taxi ride into central Aqaba.

Go just for the location!
The location of the resort is brilliant. The resort itself has seen better days. It is tired and run down. The room was basic, pillows were as hard as rocks, mattress was lumpy. The cleanliness was barely basic, needs a thorough clean every so often to keep it looking even average. Disappointed in the reception staff. I mentioned I'd be spending my birthday on my own at the resort, she barely acknowledged my comment and did not try to make my stay special.

Very nice property with very friendly staff and beautiful grounds. We were greeted with a cold glass of strawberry juice during check-in and Ahmed at the front desk was excellent. The zero clearance pool offered a beautiful view of the Sea and the food was excellent. There was a slight problem with the room keys deactivating and sometimes a language barrier with staff who did not speak English but all in all we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Good and not too expensive hotel at Tala Bay
Nice hotel, great views, probably not a bad view in the whole place! We had a garden view room but it was also overlooking a pool and the sea. The pools looked nice, but we lived at the beach!❤️ Wonderful beach access, even some nice coral close by for snorkeling:) The Tala Bay Resort area is amazing!

Slow and frustrating check in but worth the delay.
Had great difficulty finding the entrance to this resort. Drive up and down several times before we realised the entrance is an unmarked and you enter through a No Entry gate with No Entry signs and a barrier. The other gate was not manned and had metal posts - again unmarked. All very strange and unwelcoming! Very slow check in because the receptionist staff couldn’t find the booking. He found it in the end albeit under Expedia rather than hotels. Com which obviously must be one and the same thing. But we couldn’t understand why it was all so difficult when they must have dozens of .com bookings each day. I had given them our name and reservation reference but they still asserted there was any such reservation. Once we were checked in we found Tala Bay relaxing and worth the visit.

Un Check in de une heure !!! Réservation d’une chambre Deluxe avec vue sur mer à l’arrivée chambre familiale vue sur mur, que j’ai refusé. Alors là commence la visite de quatre chambres pour en avoir une vue sur mer, la quatrième visite bien sûr. Un grand Merci à Mokhtar pour sa patience et son sourire. Sinon rien d’un 5 étoiles, la piscine et la mer au top. Fréquentation 80% Russe. Merci Mokhtar.

Großartiges Hotel mit direktem Zugang zum Strand
Dieses 5 Sterne Hotel hat alles, was man zu einer tollen Erholung braucht. Allerdings kann es im Mai dort so heiss werden, dass noch etwas mehr schattige Plätze - insbesondere um die Pools herum - aufgebaut sein sollten.

Clean hotel with great pools
Check in 4pm! Check out 12pm, no exceptions. Our flight from Amman arrived 8am, only flight every day. Had nowhere to go all day. Foyer crowded with other waiting guests. Cannot leave as town is nearly 30m away, there is nothin but desert in the surrounding area and taxi’s in the area are scarce and very expensive. Taxi from the airport was approximately $52 Australian dollars. Resort should provide a service and ‘day use’ area due to the locked in flights. On our departure (12.30am, again the only flight) we got the free shuttle into town, (fills very fast). Had to wait 3h before catching taxi to airport. Hotel was lovely, clean and well appointed. As most hotels, we could not get a sun lounge at the two beautiful pools. Towels securing chairs all day with no guests in sight. The air con in our room would not work initially, then the tv did not work at all. Problem was called through to reception without anyone attending that day. Tv was fixed 20m before we checked out. At least it will work for the next guest. Best thing was the bed was really comfortable!

Excellent accueil, de la reception au personel des bars et des chambres. Un accueil exceptionnel!! Une chambre grand confort vue mer et piscines. Petit bemol sur le buffet du soir (buffet classique des stations balnéaires, rien d'exceptionnel mais faisant son role) , mais compensé par les possibilités de repas dans les bars et restaurants au tour des piscines. Le cadre est magnifique, surtout apres avoir visité Aqaba. Plages et piscines propres et entretenues. Possibilités de toutes les activités nautiques locales (plongés, kytesurf,...). Reprise recente par une nouvelle direction après des mois de perdition, au vue des avis précédents. Je recommande +++!!!

Bad experience ever. Unprofessional staff. Hotel cleanliness is bad. It needs re-innovative. Price compare to the quality received if very very high. I paid USD 364 for one night. I paid less for one of the best in Dubai. I will not stay in this hotel even its night for one penny.

I have stayed in the hotel before, i cam in late check in and the room should have been ready but unfortunately, it wasn’t, the room bar was empty, and no water was there, and the coffee tray had no coffee only sugar and whitener, there was even coffee glass that had been used by the previous room guest and they were still there, I took photos and send them to the front desk. I call the front desk, about it, they brought cola and other fizzy drinks in the bar but no water and no coffee, they just brought more coffee mate. But the next day the hotel stuff where helpful enough and the reception were welcoming to my other guests that I brought and gave me a proper recommendation on activities. I was stung in the sea with a sea Urchins near the beach but the hotel staff on the beach gave very fast aid and prevented any infections Overall the second day was great just the first part of the stay was a bit awkward But overall great

Great hotel and location are great but...
The hotel, beach and pools were great. The buffet was terrible. The food was good but the atmosphere was just awful. It was chaotic and overpriced. We tried to avoid it as much as possible. We stayed for a week and half way through our trip they removed all the towels from our room and getting new ones was a chore. They upgraded us to a premium room and it was appreciated so it is hard to criticize but there are definitely things they could improve. It wasn't all bad the location was walking distance to great snorkelling and the shuttle bus into town was convenient we used it lots for dinner. The pools were clean and we'll kept and the rooms were in good condition.

Bad service, no staff available, long time for check in, no chairs available in the pool or in the beach in relation to the amount of people that can be hosted in the hotel, damaged bed sheets amon others. It is a pity that a hotel with such a good infrastructure is showing lack of maintanence and management. Not a real 5 stars hotel.

incompetence at its best!
disastrous. the service was terrible and slow, staff was impolite, impatient and forgetful. breakfast area was extremely dirty, food left on the table and around and under the table. glasses were dirty. they clearly took advantage of the holiday weekend and the fact that few alternatives were available to the guests. not to be repeated!

Weekend Getaway
The hotel had trash strewn in the walkways, stairwell and common areas; it was dirty and the room we initially checked into was even more filthy. We asked to speak to a manager and we were not able to. We changed our room 3 times before we found one semi suitable. Before the end of the first day my husband killed a roach in the room, 3 am the next morning he killed another one. We've stayed at close to 100 hotels in various countries and this is the first time we found cockroaches in our hotel room. The comforter on the bed had stains, and several dirt marks, the bathrooms in the first three rooms we looked at reeked. Housekeeping came to resolve the issue, but the deodorizer only masked the smell momentarily. We stayed the weekend, but checked out earlier than we needed to on the day of departure. By no means can this be considered a 5 star hotel. It is lacking in numerous areas. I would not stay here again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It was worse than words will allow me to express; it was so bad that my husband has decided that we will never stay at a Radisson again.

Bad experience, unfortunate for an otherwise nice
We arrived to an extremely overcrowded lobby, with kids running all around and several welcome drinks deposited on the reception desk. The receptionist said we were being upgraded for free, but in reality it was a regular standard room. The room smelled of smoke, it was noisy, Room 111, and the room showed its age. For sure this was not the classy Radisson Blu hotels I was used to staying in. The hotel was fully packed, full capacity. We decided to eat elsewhere for breakfast, because the dining area was super crowded and one had to wait in long lines for things and some offerings were not even available. The whole eating area was a disaster. I think it is a beautiful hotel, it is just not managed well. I've stayed at other hotels in and around Aqaba and I would never stay at this one again.
