fijn hotel goede uitvalbasis voor cultuur en natuu
Goed eenvoudig hotel met kwaliteit en vriendelijk personeel. Moeilijk te bereiken met de wagen maar grote vrije parking op 15minuten stappen (steïl). Eetgelegenheid in de buurt. Goede uitvalbasis voor bezoek azn steden en wandelingen in natuurparken.

Prachtig hotel met mooi uitzicht
Hotel is absoluut aan te raden, prachtige kamers, vriendelijk personeel, mooi stadje, goed uitzicht. Schone kamers. Alleen de bereikbaarheid is erg lastig, omdat het bovenop de berg licht en de weggetjes er naartoe erg nauw zijn. Je kunt er niet goed komen met de auto.

Fantastic bedroom terrace with great views. Downside was having to park in the main town carpark. We then walked uphill through the old town. I would advise getting a taxi from the car park.

The terrace off of our room had a magnificent 180 degree panoramic view from the church on the heights across a beautiful valley with cultivated fields and orchards. A flock of black birds lives in a crevice in the cliff below the church and flew in fascinating formations. Simply stunning at all times of day, sunset and starlit night!

Dormir al borde del tajo .
Un lugar remanso de paz. Unas vistas preciosas desde la misma cama y muy buena atención personalizada. Quién vaya al casco antiguo de Arcos debe saber que se puede llegar a descargar equipaje y aparcar a unos 5 min andando pero compensa muchísimo. Ir a Arcos es descansar en el centro , en el mismo tajo.

Fantastisk hyggelig hotell med sjarm. Fint rom med flott terrasse med utrolig utsikt. Litt smal dobbeltseng, ellers ikke noe negativt. Fantastisk valuta til å være påske. A la carte frokost som var helt grei.

Amazing balcony views
A lovely hotel. Our room,10, had a balcony with amazing views. The room was small but comfortable, excellent for an overnight stay. The only downside was the TV didn't work, but that didn't bother us. Would definitely use again.

Todo fenomenal. Las vistas desde la habitación son impresionantes con una terraza muy bonita, la ubicación muy céntrica, a 50 metros de la plaza del Cabildo donde hemos podido aparcar.

Quaint with million dollar view
Small hotel in the city center. Driving is difficult and finding a parking spot is even harder. But, the rooms are updated and the bedding was great. View — unbelievable !! Stayed here because it was a Rick Steves recommendation. Only disappointment is that there is a charge for breakfast.

One of our very favorites in all the world
Staying at El Convento is just glorious because of the view. The balconies are stunning with all the intricate tilework. The birds flying around the cliffs below, the bells from the cathedral, a bottle of wine....we didn't want to leave.

Hotel que merece más estrellas de las que tiene.
Le daría la máxima puntuación si no fuera porque la cama era algo incómoda. Por lo demás, es sencillamente un hotel maravilloso con una ubicación inmejorable. El cuarto de baño y la terraza son una pasada.

Acogedor, limpio y de excelente ubicación
El hotel se encuentra en pleno corazón histórico de Arcos: a tiro de piedra de los principales atractivos turísticos y cercano a restaurantes excelentes. El precio que pagar es la dificultad para aparcar el coche, aunque existen aparcamientos en la zona baja del pueblo e incluso en la próxima plaza del Cabildo (aunque a finales de agosto nunca vi sitios libres cuando pasé). Por otra parte, la habitación la encontramos muy limpia y muy bien atendida por el personal. El balcón (más bien, terraza) que incluye se abre a una dilatada campiña encaramado sobre un bellísimo abismo desde donde también se contempla una de las preciosas iglesias del pueblo. Unas vistas, por tanto, espectaculares. Por último, el personal del hotel es muy agradable y muy cercano, lo que se agradece en este tipo de alojamientos. En suma, una excelente elección para disfrutar de Arcos y sus alrededores.

What a wonderful hotel.
The perfect hotel in the perfect location. Rooms have balcony or terrace with views to die for. I've visited Arcos de la Frontera multiple times, but this is my first stay at El Convento. I'll be booking this hotel next time.

Great Property — tricky to get to
Nice hotel and friendly staff. View is great. Had a room with a terrace. You CAN NOT drive there. Best advice is to park at their sister hotel and walk (15 minutes) or taxi there.

Great stay in Arcos de ls Frontera
The view was great. The staff was helpful. The location in the old town of Arcos was excellent. The arrangement to park at Los Olivos hotel was excellent since the lot was guarded and we didn't have to drive into the old town which would have been challenging.

Very quite location.
When we first arrived we were given a room with 2 twin beds. I asked for 1 double and for some reason, it wasn't on the reservation. But the front desk found us a room with a double once we informed them we were there for a romantic getaway.

The joy of Arcos
Fantastic located in the old town, with a warm welcome from the reception team. Add bounes of a balcony with breathtaking view. Recommend that anyone travling by car, check and agree the parking arrange with the hotel reception in advance of arriving. No parking onsite and the roads to the hotel are through very narrow streets.

Right in the middle of this quaint, mountain town. Very walkable once you are in town. Offered reduced rate parking at their sister property so you don;t need to worry about the car. Beautiful views from the room terrace and they set up and served breakfast after we ordered so that we could sit outside and enjoy! First time I've had an actual key to a room in a LONG time! :)
