'Myself and my companion wanted a quiet place in the country where we could get away from the big cities and the tourist traps. Willowbrook Cottage was exactly what we wanted and more! Our gracious host was there to greet us and explain the finer details of the cottage and left us a wonderful welcome basket that was totally unexpected. 'We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute.'

'We spent 17 nights at the Hilltown in Ballintra, outside of Donegal Town. It met or exceeded our expectations. Very peaceful, country setting.'

We went to Slieve League cliffs one day (beautiful not to be missed!)Donegal town one day and had a delicious meal at the Blueberry Cafe and explored the town and Donegal Castle. 'The property was clean and cosy, but the listing was misleading. The exterior photos showed a small house surrounded by green fields, whereas the actual accommodation was in a studio room behind a family home in their back garden. If we had known this beforehand, we likely would have booked elsewhere.'

"Prima hotel gelegen aan zee bij de boulevard. Parkeren is gratis en ruim voldoende op eigen terrein. Personeel is vriendelijk en er is regelmatig live music. Ligging is vlakbij de hoofdstraat van Bundoran. Ruime en nette kamer en badkamer. ‘s Ochtends genoten van een heerlijk Iers ontbijtbuffet. "

"Very nice stay in a clean hotel close to the river. I had the most beautiful river vieuw. The hotel is in the town center, about 15 minutes walk from the busstop and about 10 minutes from the shopping center. Hotel is clean, roomservice passes by every day, extremely friendly staf "
