Would stay here again and again!
Spectacular lakefront villa! Convenient to everything while in a peaceful, local town. Spotless and comfortable, with gorgeous grounds perfect for hanging out and playing games (baci ball and ping pong!) What especially sets this property apart is the host, Francesco. Francesco was available at all times to help with transportation, logistics, and reservations. He even offers tours of the lake on his gorgeous boat (highly recommend). This architecturally interesting villa and experience is a MUST in Como! Thank you for everything, Francesco!!

Lago Di Como GEM
We enjoyed a six night family and friends vacation. We especially enjoyed Francesco’s gracious hospitality and sparkling personality. Francesco showed us around Lake Como on his boat, and was very helpful in making other reservations and arrangements. The property was spectacular with an expensive lake front. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful, quiet Como
Our ten day stay began with the wonderful meeting of Francesco, our host. He is truly that as he takes care of you like you are his family. Anything we asked, he provided with ease. We enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by the chef and served impeccably. It was my husband’s birthday dinner and we had a cake and sparklers!! Beautiful location offering village charm with full access to the other lake locations. Should we decide to visit Como again we would choose the Villa again.

FABULOUS VILLA ON Lake Como
We had a wonderful visit to Lake Como. The views from the villa are breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio from the first cup of coffee in the morning to dining al fresco in the evening. We took a tour of Lake Como with Francesco who has lived in the area his whole life and took the ferry to visit Bellagio and Varenna. The bedrooms and living room were very comfortable and there is a game area downstairs. We travel as a family every other year and everyone agreed that the villa was the nicest place that we have ever stayed. Francesco was very helpful and had coffee and snacks ready for us. We would love to go again!

Simply Perfect!
To be honest, we think this place was better than the pictures (and the pictures looked pretty good). It was simply perfect for our family holiday (8 people including 2 kids) and we can't imagine a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Como. The house and gardens had so much space, and was so comfortable, we didn't really want to leave. Bedrooms & Bathrooms really well laid out. The lounge and dining room had heaps of light and opened up with incredible views of the lake. Our favourite parts were afternoon games of Bocce with food & drinks at the outside table; jumping into the Lake from our deck; table tennis battles; an evening birthday dinner under the stars. Thank you Francesco for a perfect holiday. We hope to return again one day!

Wedding of our dreams
My wife and I were married on this property in July 2023. We knew we wanted to get married in Lake como so we started looking at wedding venues but as we started looking at VRBOs we thought... why don't we do our ceremony at one of these properties? We didn't know if it was possible so we reached out to the host, Francesco. Francesco responded fast and with all of the information we would need if we wanted to proceed, and we felt so comfortable with his kindness and the property so we booked it! It was beyond anything I could have ever expected. Francesco helped us connect with a celebrant, photographer, florist, and chef for our big day! The wedding was GORGEOUS. Directly after the wedding ceremony, Francesco took us on his personal boat and drove us around the lake with our photographer. That night, the chef came by the house, used Francesco's kitchen and wine and served us a 4 course meal, baked our wedding cake, etc. Not only did this property provide enough room to accommodate 8 people in my party comfortably, it turned into our dream wedding venue. I cannot speak highly enough of the host, Francesco. None of this could have been possible without him and I've never had a host as responsive, respectful, and genuinely caring for his guests. If you're considering booking this property for your stay at lake como, DO IT. You will not regret it if your experience is anything like mine.

Wunderschöne Ferienvilla
Wir haben zehn wundervolle Tage am Comer See verbracht. In der Villa fühlt man sich ab dem ersten Tag wohl, es ist alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Auch der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Villa ist ruhig gelegen und man kann sehr gut entspannen. Der Garten und der Ausblick sind ein Traum. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Exceptional experience! I’ve traveled quite a bit and have stayed in many vacation rentals. The experience with Francesco was top notch. He was very prompt in replying to any questions or special requests that we may have had prior and during our visit. Being that this villa is owned by his family makes pride of ownership and personal experience top priority for him. The villa itself was very well maintained and spacious. It offered bocci and many areas for guests to sit and watch the lake activities. I’d recommend Francescos chef (Umberto) to prepare a meal for you and guests at the villa. Again exceptional dinner experience on the veranda. If your lucky to book a personal tour of the lake with Francesco will be the icing on the cake of your visit. Look forward to visiting again!

Simply amazing
Our experience at this amazing property will be hard to match. The home and its views are stunning. I’m not sure the pictures do it justice. And Francesco made us feel like we were staying in a five-star hotel. He arranged our transportation to and from Milan, which went smoothly. When several construction projects delayed our arrival at the home, Francesco went to the store and bought us snacks and a few staples so we could relax when we arrived. On our first night, we took the advice of many reviewers on this site and asked Francesco to arrange a private in-home dinner with Umberto. I am so happy we did. The food was ample and delicious. We also enjoyed several wines from the cellar. We also took advantage of the private boat tour with Francesco, who is knowledgeable and, frankly, a joy to be around. He went above and beyond repeatedly to make our stay memorable even arranging for a food delivery one night when the older relatives we were with did not feel up to walking into the the lovely little town. Francesco’s attention to detail and genuine interest in making sure you enjoy your time is reason alone to stay here. The dreamy home is the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Lake Como Villa
From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, everything at the Villa LaRuga was perfect. The Villa is located in an absolutely beautiful area of the lake! The view of the sunrise is amazing and the nights are beautiful! The villa is spacious and has everything you could possibility need. In addition, Francesco is the perfect host. You arrive to a warm welcome and some special goodies for your stay! He came the next day with his wonderfully smile and fresh croissants that were delicious. He also was our tour guide on the lake for two days and provided us with incredible rides around the lake, pointing out areas of special interest and took us to towns where we could experience both tourist attractions and areas not as well travelled! His restaurant recommendations were perfect! He also did some shopping at the nearby market for us! If you have a chance you should also have chef Umberto come to the Villa and prepare one of his amazing meals. It was a meal we will never forget! Our stay at the Villa was an incredible experience and we all hope to go back and enjoy the beauty of the Villa and Lake Como again! We thank Francesco for sharing his Villa and his warm hospitality and for making us feel welcome to Lake Como!! A truly memorable experience!!

Paradise on the Lake
Absolute perfection. Everything was better than expected. Our family of 5 stayed here and only wish we could have stayed longer then five days. The pictures do not even come close to how beautiful this villa is from the bocce court to the wine cellar it is truly amazing. It is located only minutes from the town which offers great restaurants, shops and cafes. Across the lake is Bellagio which is worth visiting. Lugano is also just a 30 minute drive away. Francesco is very accessible and makes you feel at home as well as offers great suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. I would highly recommend staying here and would rent this villa again without hesitation.

Francesco was an amazing host! He contacted us days before our arrival to make our arrival as easy as possible. The home was spectacular, clean, spacious, with fantastic views from every window. He was kind and had the basics for us so we did not have to run to the market for first day essentials. The home was centrally located on Lake Como, perfect for avoiding the crowded major city. You couldn't ask for a more perfect location than Francesco's house. The bedrooms are well set up for a family or group of friends (we had both). The kitchen is modern and very usable, and came stocked with some basic supplies and food which was very helpful. The property is regularly cleaned and maintained during the stay, and Francesco was always available to happily assist with anything we needed (dinner reservations, birthday arrangements, local recommendations, boat rental, etc.). Also the house is located right in Argengno which is a lovely, quiet village with some nice stores and restaurants, but also a short ferry ride or drive to all the other major Lake Como towns. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property!

Exceeded our expectations!
When planning for our friend’s milestone birthday celebration, we came across this beautiful villa and we were not disappointed! Francesco was the perfect host: responsive to every need and question we had before and during our stay! I’ve stayed in many villas and he was by far the best I’ve worked with. The waterfront villa location can’t be beat. Both from proximity to airport (about an hour) and access to nearby points of interest; whether by foot, ferry or houseboat (chauffeured by none other than your perfect host Francesco). Do not pass up the chance to have the chef cook for you at home. We had him do so multiple times and his meals, served outside at candlelight, were among the best of the entire trip. Start the evening off with Bocce matches, add an abundance of apps prepared by the chef, and pair this with reasonably priced wines from the villa’s wine cellar….. what more could you want? Thank you Francesco! The Franklins, Goodings and Benses!!!

I’d leave more than 5 stars if I could
This house is every bit as wonderful as the 5 star review suggest and more. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot away from the super busy tourist areas this is it. The village of Argegno is an easy walk and it is so charming. The ferry is right there and can take you anywhere you need to go on the lake. Many days we spent just enjoying the house, floating in the lake and playing bocce ball. I also highly recommend having Francesco set up the private chef - beyond amazing. Francesco you are absolutely wonderful and we appreciate all you did to make this trip so great. We will be back

We -7 people, 5 of them around 20 and an aged Magyar Vizsla (dog), spent 9 relaxing days in Francescos magnificent property. Wonderful sunrises and spectacular thunderstorms could be observed from the 180 degree panoramic view of the lake and otherwise it was with excursions, boule games and jumping from the terrace into the water to no second boring. The garden with its diverse flora and the house are absolutely well maintained; also discreetly during our stay, which was very pleasant. We really appreciated the daily chat with Francesco for getting news or asking him any questions and we hope to return next year to see him and this beautiful place again. Thank you Francesco!

60th wedding anniversary celebration
In celebration of our parent’s 60th wedding anniversary, we chose Villa La Ruga as the destination for a family of eight adults. Nestled in the hillside, below street level, the Villa sits on lovely, private grounds providing a fantastic view of Lake Como. We took full advantage of the amenities offered right from the Villa including fishing, boating and competitive family Bocce ball tournaments. A highlight of the week was our family dinner with private chef, Umberto, who treated us to an authentic Italian menu. Spacious and well-appointed, the Villa proved very comfortable for our group. We appreciated the services of Francesco and Chica who collectively ensured both the home and ourselves were well maintained. Francesco was a delight. His commitment to our experience was consistent and appreciated, including arranging changes to the boat service, providing beach towels or assisting with airport transportation. The Villa to Argengo was a ten-minute walk, offering wonderful views and historic color. We enjoyed several good restaurants and the ease of access to the ferry which provides many stops to towns around Lake Como. An amazing trip that captured wonderful memories for all of us.

Perfection on Lake Como
Staying at Francesco's villa on Lake Como was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We were surprised how young Francesco was but he was a great host and took care of all the details. He was always immediately available for any of our needs and his friendly and outgoing personality was delightful. Francesco arranged for a driver, Carlo, who picked us up at our hotel in Milan and drove us to the villa. Carlo also took us to dinner one night and to the airport at the end of our stay. The villa itself is a large beautiful home right on the lake and only about a 15 minute walk to the town of Argegno. Although not as large and touristy as some towns around the lake but it is easy to navigate, the restaurants are very good and the friendliness of the people couldn't be better. From Argegno we took the cable car up to the town of Pigra which gave us some amazing views of Lake Como. Francesco also arranged for a private chef, Umberto to cook two meals for us and our guests. Absolutely a do not miss experience. Umberto brought all the food, prepared and cooked it, served us, and then cleaned everything up. The meals were simply as good or better than any really exclusive restaurant. Francesco also helped make restaurant reservations and helped us take his boat out. My family loved the boat experience and spent many hours swimming in the lake off the boat and sightseeing up and down the lake. The braver members of our family also dove off the elevated patio that hangs out over the lake. Less adventuresome could enter the water from the boat house or pontoon for swimming. We also took advantage of the bocci ball court and ping pong table available to guests. The well stocked wine cellar had many reasonably priced wines and we sampled quite a few. For anyone looking for a really unique experience in Italy I would whole heartedly recommend Francesco and his villa. You can fill your days with fun or spend time relaxing at the villa for a truly memorable vacation. Thank you Francesco for your warm hospitality and being such a gracious host. We so much enjoyed meeting you and having some great conversations.

Such a beautiful villa and wonderful view of the lake and we were so happy to be returning for a second time! Francesco was always incredibly helpful, friendly and was happy to assist with all our questions. The house was always extremely clean thanks to Chika’s hard work. The villa is a short walk from Argengo where there are yummy restaurants, amazing gelato and the ferry port. Otherwise there is Francesco’s boat in the boat house that you can hire which is a fabulous way to get around! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay in a very beautiful and stunning villa including genuine Italian host:-) A story about the perfect holiday at Lake Como……… Before the holiday: So after you made the booking you will soon get an E-Mail from the host -> Francesco. He will answer you all the questions, he will help and support you in everything. I got quite some questions and he explained me everything so sweet and carefully via E-Mail. He organized fishing licenes and also a boat for our stay. Francesco tries everything to fullfil all your wishes….. and always in a very reliable, funny and honest behavior. That was really great. He really reminded me of a superb five star hotel concierge… Arrival & Parking: Francesco is always in time, that means when you say you arrive at 16:00, he will be there at 16:00. We arrived by car from Austria. You can drive directly to the villa with the car. That means, if you have a car, you can park it directly in front of the villa (there is space for several cars). Everything is safe and highclass….. you even got an automatic gate, perfect:-). Welcoming and first Impression: He really takes care about you, that means first Francesco explains you everything…..but always in a very nice, heartwarming Italian way. There are so many useful things in the house and also around the house. Instantly you will be very impressed of the Lake, the view, the house and also the garden…… Everything was so clean, so clean – like at very carefully managed five star hotels….inside and also outside. About the house: So you have almost evertyhing, very nice kitchen, TV-Sat, very good working Internet (W-Lan), many bedrooms, many bathrooms, wine cellar and a lot of space. There are soooooooooooooooooo many beautiful details in the house and also outside of the house. Many spots where you can see that the builder really built something beautiful and special. I guarantee, you will be impressed……. Francesco even bought a lot of stuff for eating and drinking, but we haven´t eat it, but you can feel on so many ways how really Francesco cares about his guest……. Just Meraviglioso (you can guess what it means:-)) Huge garden -> huge fun: So you have a very big garden, and everything is directly at the lake. You can jump on spots into the lake:-). Also the entire garden and the terraces are designed so beautiful….. So if you have your mother in law with you, you can put her into one area of the garden and you will not meet her for several hours…….

A Wonderful Experience
This beautiful lakeside Villa is ideally located in the small town of Argegno, which is easy to navigate by foot, boat or car. We walked to good quality restaurants nightly, caught the ferry around the lake for sightseeing, and retrieved Swiss friends from the Como train station in minutes. Francesco is a wonderful and charming host - he will help in any way possible. The home is nicely appointed, spacious and great for entertaining. Will return again.

We would return in a heartbeat
Just looking at the photo of this house makes me feel wistful! We stayed for 10 days and wished it were for longer. The house itself is generous, well laid out and has everything you need. Cleaning is included and regular by the lovely Chica. The gardens are lovely and the view is one we found hard to beat in all the beautiful places we visited on the lake. It is a very special place. We hired the boat while we were there and it really made it extra wonderful - great to just nip to the boathouse and be able to explore this gorgeous part of the world. I think we just hit the very end of the (possibly already ended) summer season and it did not diminish our pleasure. The lake was quiet and we swam in many different spots. Even with slightly mixed weather, the layout of the house and the terrace meant that you could enjoy it in all its seasons- dramatic storms included. We were so impressed by Francesco who is such a lovely and welcoming host - nothing was ever a problem. He organised a small life vest for our toddler, suggested and made restaurant reservations, was easy to contact and so helpful in many different ways. We will definitely be back!

A Fabulous Week on Lake Como
We had a fabulous week in this lovely villa. We were a group of 8 with our 4 children and 2 partners. Francesco was a wonderful host, giving us a very warm welcome and arranging pasta-making, a private chef and boat hire. The villa is very comfortable, well equipped and in a really great position. We made very good use of the boccia court, and swam in the lake every day. We also enjoyed a few bottles of wine from the wine cellar! Argegno is a10 minute walk away, with bars, restaurants, general amenities and ferry stop. We had a great time exploring all the local landmarks by boat, bus, car, and even cable car from Argegno to Pigra, where the views across the lake are stunning!

A perfect villa
At the end of October 2019, our family (5 adults) spent 4 wonderful days at this fabulous villa. The photos accurately show its beauty, but the lake and surrounding landscape are even more beautiful. Francesco is an excellent and friendly host. He arranged for a driver to take us to/from the villa; for a chef to prepare us dinner at the villa; and for a tour of the lake on a venetian water taxi. The town of Argegno is a short walk from the villa (less than 15 minutes). It is picturesque and has a number of good restaurants. The entire area is lovely and the villa is better than advertised. The two week stay at the villa was wonderful; Francesco could not have been more helpful; he tended to all of our needs. The boat tour with a tour guide that he arranged was great, as was the dinner he arranged with a professional chef. My husband and I travelled with another couple to Lake Como and stayed at the house for 9 nights. The stunning views of the lake and the Alps in the background from the terrace was the experience we were looking for. The house is located in the perfect spot along the lake for sightseeing . The quaint town of Argegno is just a few minutes walk with numerous restaurants and a ferry to get to the other lake towns. The owner Franscesco was extremely gracious and helpful in making recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We could not have asked for a better time!

Fabulous Lake Como Villa
We stayed at the Villa when we came to the Lake Como area for our son’s wedding. The Villa was a perfect accommodation for our family to be together and relax between events at a local hotel. The beauty of the Villa on the lakefront and size of the property is incredible. The owner of the Villa was always accessible for questions and assistance with local drivers and village information. Our wonderful visit
Villa la Riga is a very special place located on the edge of Lake Como. It is beautifully designed and appointed and shade can be found outside every part of the day. As a family of 4 with a young baby plus other visitors, the villa was perfect. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the world go past in boats while loving the view, using the boat, playing bocce every night and swimming most days in the lake (baby too)). Finally, the meal cooked by Piero , one night was a highlight. Francesco was always ready to help out/sort out any problems at any time. We would return. 6th August 2019

Amazing villa with unbelievable views
Francesco was an extremely friendly and helpful host. Upon check-in he briefed us on everything concerning the villa and the boat, which we rented for two days. Experiencing Lake Como by boat makes it a completely different and pleasant experience. After exploring all the towns around the lake we realized that Argegno was one of the better more amenity rich towns If the area. As for the villa, it was stocked with everything you’d need during your stay- and more! If you love wine, it has a fully stocked wine cellar. If you love boating and being on the water it has a 7 person boat. If you’re like me and love mixing the two together then this is the place. ...Stop reading my review and book the villa...! Thank you for letting us have an amazing time in the villa. We will certainly meet again Francesco!

Convenient and comfortable plus fabulous hospitality. The description was spot on!
Francesco was our host and our group of six could not have asked for anything more! He arranged a chef for our first evening, a boat tour of Lake Como the second day and transfers both to and from the villa. His English is excellent and communications before our arrival were on the spot. He also provided groceries to get us through day one and we selected reasonably priced wine from the wine cellar. The villa was charming, comfortable and situated nearby a small town. We would return again if we came back to the region!

Great Villa on Lake Como
While visiting Italy, our group decided to stay in a Villa on Lake Como. We chose Francesco's villa and are so happy we did! Four couples were able to enjoy this wonderful place. The outdoor patio, looking out on Lake Como, is where we spent most of our time. Francesco arranged one night for a chef to come in and cook us a fabulous italian meal. He also helped us to arrange a boat tour of Lake Como. From this villa, we visited Lake Maggiore and took the train to Milan. Francesco was always so kind and available to help. He even brought us some breakfast goodies for or first day!

Francesco helped thru out the week with any of our needs or questions. The chef Francesco scheduled for us was incredible. The terrace is where you will spend 90% of your time. We had a water taxi pick us up at the house for a guided tour of lake. Bedrooms are spacious and home was very clean. We only sat in living room once because the terrace is so beautiful. Make sure for go to Albergo a restaurant in the village the owners were the best. This villa will always be on our list.

What a way to end a European vacation
The Villa was an amazing way to end our vacation in Europe after having traveled the week before. We had two families together a total of nine and never felt like we were in each other's way. Francesco arranged for a chef and his wife to cook dinner on the first night and arranged for some great wines from the cellar. The views were wonderful especially in the morning. Francesco was available to arrange anything we needed and was always gregarious and friendly. I spent quite a bit of time discussing the villa and surrounding area with him. I highly recommend the villa and will stay the next time in Lake Como.

The ideal idyl
It is hard to find words good enough to do justice to our experience of staying at Villa la Ruga. When we first arrived at the villa, our jaws dropped at the staggering views of the lake and surrounding mountains before us. Being right by the water, we felt totally uninterrupted and fully immersed in the breathtaking power of the area. Turning our attention to the villa itself, it was clear that this is a very special place indeed. Full of charm and equipped for our every need, we quickly began to feel very lucky to have found it! We had ample opportunity to explore lake Como. Hiking, driving, boating and ferries are all easily accessible. As truly wonderful as sightseeing was, returning to the villa always seemed like the pièce de résistance. Each evening, we found the perfect refuge to enjoy good company over a local wine next to a roaring fire. Meeting Francesco was sincerely one of the highlights of our stay. It is hard to imagine a host more intelligent, affable and helpful. Never intrusive, but always available, he helped us on so many occasions with matters great and small. One of our most magical experiences began with us setting off by boat directly from the villa. After a few hours scooting around the lake, we pulled up to a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed a terrific lunch consisting of local cuisine. We have Francesco to thank for that whole experience! From setting up the boat, providing advice and directions to booking the restaurant itself, the whole experience was taken care of. Thank you so much! So many wonderful memories: breakfast on the patio; ping-pong tournaments; choosing wines from the cellar; talking about life and the world with Francesco; the best meals we have had in Italy (and we have been around!); waking to views of the lake; pizza delivery by candlelight; rugged hillsides; mystery water bottles; napping on the deckchairs; the stars above and below... I would normally describe something like this as the "trip of a lifetime". The only thing that stops me is that I can't wait to come again to repeat it! Hopefully Villa la Ruga and Francesco will be around for a long time so we can enjoy "many trips of a lifetime".

Great Stay at Villa La Ruga
We had such a great time at the Villa. The house is large, very clean and right on the lake. What a great location. Francesco was so helpful and attentive to all of our questions. We even got to take the boat out for a spin on the lake. There is a cute town walkable from the Villa. I highly recommend this house.

We absolutely LOVED Villa La Ruga. The house is spectacular. The inside is spacious and charming. The outside is perfectly manicured and has the most amazing view. It was truly our favorite place we have ever been. We had a group of 7 people and it was more than enough room for everyone. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. The owner, Francesco was absolutely wonderful to work with. He handled every last detail for us, including rides to and from the train station and dinner and boat reservations. We are already planning to come back!!

Stunning setting on beautiful Lake Como with a great host.
We stayed at Villa La Ruga for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer! The setting along the lakefront is gorgeous and really very private. So you can relax and unwind in a peaceful place and then go explore when you want some activity. Francesco is a great host and can help with recommendations or activities. We had Chef Umberto cook a dinner for us one night and it was delightful. The Villa itself is of very solid construction and has more room than it initially appears. When we visited, it was unusually hot outside. The Villa is not air-conditioned at the moment. But breezes off the lake help and there are fans. Things cooled off nicely as the sun set. Francesco had a nice selection of breakfast foods waiting focus when we arrived, which was considerate. We cooked some meals and also dinned out. Try the Theatro Cafe in Como and order the branzino in sea salt. Perfect! We'd highly recommend Villa La Ruga and hope to return!

Stunning panoramic view of Lake Como! Excellent lakefront experience.
Four couples stayed for two weeks in this very private villa location with magnificent lakefront views of Lake Como. The grounds are gorgeous. Francesco was very gracious welcoming us with a food package of local goodies and breakfast and instructions with helpful information. He booked reservations for us in restaurants along with arrangements for private transportation and private boat taxi accommodations. He was accommodating in every way and very quick and responsive. We rented a boat which was delivered to the villa and kept in the boat house and was perfect for cruising the beautiful lake and sightseeing. The boat house also provided us access to the lake where we swam daily. Francesco provided us with information as to public parking for the boat and access along the lake. There is no need for a car. The town is a close nice walk with a great bakery providing delicious fresh croissants and the people are very welcoming and accommodating and friendly. We sat on the terrace of this villa for breakfasts, lunches and dinners and just to play cards and enjoy the view. The food in town at the local restaurants was good also. Francesco made arrangements for a private chef, Umberto, to cook a fantastic dinner and serve us on the terrace at a very reasonable price. We played Bocci ball every night and ping pong. The beds were comfy and the master bedroom is huge and has the most privacy with views of the lake and beautiful views of the grounds and gardens. We made fantastic meals in the cozy kitchen that was very easy to cook in and well stocked. My suggestion is to stop at "Bennet" giant grocery store for food and to stock the kitchen upon arrival to the villa. We were constantly pinching ourselves about the views and the lake and we will definitely return to have another memorable and dreamy lake Como experience.
