Modern Lake View Apartment In Argegno With Breathtaking Views

SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great apartment and quiet village…

We had hoped for wonderful views of Lake Como and the surrounding peaks. Instead we had undeniably SPECTACULAR views from the terrace and from within the apartment. The constantly changing light upon the lake, throughout the day and evening, brought the sense of ever changing vistas, beautiful beyond measure, of the lake and surrounding villages and mountains. The apartment itself was very clean, well furnished, roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped, for anyone wanting to cook and eat at home. The owners were pleasant, offered local and larger area recommendations, and were quick to respond and helpful on the few occasions that we had questions. Our one word of warning, however. If you are not driving, the quiet walk up to the apartment from the village of Argegno might be a challenge unless you are fit enough to climb 10-12 flights of stairs, (we counted 101 steps). But even after almost 2 weeks of walking up this path, we always marveled at the breathtaking (in more ways than one) view of the lake as we crested the hill and entered the apartment. The village was very welcoming with more than an adequate array of dining and cafe options. It was also blessedly small enough not to be overrun with tourists. An excellent mix of spectacular views, very good ferry service and hospitality guarantees that we hope to return to this property and Argegno again.…We had hoped for wonderful views of Lake Como and the surrounding peaks. The apartment had everything we needed and a very accommodating and friendly owner. We had questions and he responded immediately by phone and email including contacting the local person to come and explain all we asked. The property was well situated and a short though steep walk to the village where there were a variety of good restaurants and the all important ferry landing. We didn't really need a car. Of course the setting was breathtaking. All and all a very nice stay.…The apartment had everything we needed and a very accommodating and friendly owner. Cracking few days in this lovely property. Very good facilities and perfect for an evening BBQ. Only complaint would be having to walk 10 minutes up the steep hill to get to the house from the town but you wouldn't get the beautiful views otherwise!…
