'After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease. The sleeping quarters are very cosy, with a separate bathroom and living room containing everything you need for a relaxed stay, best of all a very comfortable bed. Next morning breakfast was sumptuous, cooked to perfection by Lisa who is a super host. L’oasis a special place...

'It was a dream come true. Always wanted to stay in a castle and it exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the Radcliffe room. Unbelievable. Clean spacious and felt like a princess. Sauna was a nice touch and the bath was absolutely beautiful and spacious enough for 2. Would’ve liked bubble bath or epsom salts that’s the only thing I would’ve asked for. High tea was impressive with plenty of food and evening finding was amazing fresh and tasty. We didn’t want to leave '

"Wij hadden de ‘river view’ kamer: Een geweldige en ruime kamer met een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier en een aantal bruggen.
Heerlijke bedden!

Ontbijtbuffet heerlijk vers en heel uitgebreid.
Hotel in centrum van de stad.
Bij een probleem met parkeren werden we uiterst vriendelijk geholpen. Geduldig personeel wat echt probeert mee te denken.
