'What a lovely, unexpected surprise the Rio Ason was. First and foremost, the staff are amazing. From arrival Anna and rest of the team were so helpful, and genuinely friendly and happy to chat. The hotel itself is great - clean, quiet and modern, good sized room, secure off street parking, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Ramales itself is a great little local town too, lots of lovely walks in the surrounding hills (and caves!), and a huge selection of local bars for refreshment...

'Property was beautiful. Almost seemed like we had the entire place to ourselves! As location was managed remotely, not much engagement with staff- went to another nearby hotel to fill out some paperwork. Very spacious rooms and great breakfast :) '

'This is a great place to stay, I am not used to staying in 3 star properties, normally 4 or 5 star. Staff are fantastic and friendly. The 24 hr cafe next to reception is a God send. Room is spotless, basic, and the beds are extemely comfortable. Tv and wifi are perfect. Buffet breakfast is good. The prices are exceptionally good for the food and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised. Literally 5.minutes in a taxi to the airport and 4 minutes to a central shopping center. The Marina restaurants...

Gelukkig maakt de natuurlijke omgeving een boel goed, kamer had geen airco, wat in de zomer wel een gemis is. Ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Santander, prima voor mensen die van de natuur willen genieten en ook van de cultuur van een stad als Santander.'
