'Nice comfortable Hotel in Blumenau. Despite its name (Himmelblau) there is not much German about this Hotel. Only one staff member actually spoke some German. The rest (interior, food, etc) is 100% Brazilian. Center of town is nearby, you can walk it all. Many fake German places with timberwork glued on concrete slabs. With some effort you can spot real old German houses down the main street, but most are in ruins or disrepair. Interesting history though, but the tourist dept better shape up...

'It is one of premium hotel in the area. Itajai and the Brava beach is a funky neighborhood and it is quiet, safe and clean. The service I received from this hotel is superb and the breakfast is custom-tailored, health and nutrition focused, five-star restaurant quality. I only wish they can serve the breakfast earlier to fit the business travellers schedule. The staff were trying to accommodate me with their best effort and I really appreciate it! Well done guys.'

'Tivemos uma experiência muito boa até a metade do tempo quando eu tive uma virose e passei muito mal. Mesmo assim, a equipe quando ficou sabendo fez de tudo para que eu tivesse um pouco mais de descanso, conseguiram remédios e até ofereceram chamar um médico para me atender. Enquanto estávamos todos bem, aproveitamos muito, a comida é muito boa, o atendimento é impecável. Os tios da recriação infantil são muito animados e fizeram de tudo para o nosso filho se enturmar, foi muito legal. Único...
