This traditional 350m² Alentejo estate near Arraiolos offers the perfect retreat for families and friends seeking peace, comfort, and an authentic countryside experience.

Nestled within a traditional homestead, the house sits on a property where wild boars and deer are bred; guests may even spot these beautiful animals roaming the land.

Inside, the spacious living room provides a warm and inviting space with comfortable sofas, a TV for your favourite shows, and a dining table ideal for shared meals.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the essential cookware and cutlery needed to prepare delicious meals, including a stove, oven, and microwave. For added convenience, a dishwasher makes post-meal cleanup effortless.

Three bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, while the fourth offers two single beds, all prepared with complimentary hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

The 3.5 bathrooms are stocked with clean towels and complimentary toiletries for your comfort.

The highlight of this property is the private swimming pool, perfect for cooling off on sunny days or enjoying fun afternoons with family. The shaded porch with its seating area and outdoor dining table is ideal for relaxing moments or al fresco meals while taking in the serene surroundings.

Please note: a few steps inside the house may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Nestled in the peaceful Alentejo countryside, Monte da Copinha e Matão offers the perfect retreat for those seeking quiet, nature, and authenticity. Located near the charming town of Arraiolos, this rural area is surrounded by vast open landscapes, cork oak trees, and traditional farms that capture the essence of southern Portugal.

Just a short drive away lies Arraiolos, a historic village famous for its castle, one of the few circular castles in the world, and for the iconic Arraiolos embroidered rugs, a centuries-old local craft. Visitors can explore the Interpretation Centre of the Arraiolos Carpet, wander through cobbled streets, and admire whitewashed houses decorated with touches of blue and yellow.

The area also offers beautiful hiking and cycling trails, such as the “Rota do Montado,” where you can enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, olive groves, and oak forests. For wine enthusiasts, the nearby Herdade de Coelheiros is a must-visit, offering wine tastings and tours through its vineyards and olive groves.

Despite its rural charm, the region is well connected, making it easy to explore other Alentejo gems, such as Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city just 25 minutes away.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Humberto Delgado Airport is a 78-minute drive from the property.

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
