'A beautifullly restored old house with wood floors and modern features. Good hotel, clean and good position. Ring 15 minutes ahead to organise parking because the parking is not close to the hotel and there is no dedicated place to park, just stop on the curb and a valet will come. Breakfast was really good. The street side can be loud, so if you are sensitive ask for a room on the inside. The staff were friendly and helpful.'

'The place was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle service was good; they even stopped by the bank for me before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. They replied to messages promptly. They also provided hot breakfast with different choices. Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.'

'I got there to do my check in and they told us the don’t have the room I did reserved, they give another option for 40$ more and they blame Expedia for the wrong price. I didn’t like they don’t accept any credit card or debit card. There was no hot water either. They are nice'

'This is a beautiful little hotel and I was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. But this isn't a 4 star hotel. It's a very good 3 star. There just aren't the amenities you would have expect for a hotel in the 4 star range'

'Very close to old part of the city so lots within walking distance. Staff were very helpful when trying to find my way around. Breakfast was lovely.'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'Airport shuttle driver waiting for me at airport with my name on a sign. Return ride to airport was on time as promised. Breakfast was great! Hernan was a gracious host. He made sure I had everything I needed. He even booked a tour for me and another guest in which he took the time to be our guide and driver. Great stay! Thank you Hernan!'

'I arrived very late at night and Lucia welcomed me as if i was coming home to family! She would get up and prepare a fabulous breakfast each day just for me!! Her son, Luis arranged a fun day trip to Cotopoxi for me!!! The location is perfect!! I will never stay anywhere else when i'm in Quito!! ❤️❤️'

'The property is located in a great location in Quito, lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. You need to press a buzzer to have a staff member come and physically let you in every time. An automated unlock would be nice but not huge issue. The breakfast was good, they cooked fresh eggs to your liking. The only detractor was some cleanliness issues with our room, mainly a used bar of soap left in the shower from a previous guest....
