Dit onlangs gerenoveerde huis met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers is gelegen in Cedar Mountain, NC, halverwege tussen Brevard en Hendersonville. Asheville en Greenville zijn beide binnen een uur bereikbaar. Dit huis ligt op enkele minuten van alle 6 parkeerterreinen van DuPont State Forests. Het is ook een van de dichtstbijzijnde huurwoningen in de buurt van de Fred W. Symmes "PRETTY PLACE" Kapel, slechts 7 mijl afstand. Het is een perfecte plek om te verblijven tijdens een bruiloft daar of gewoon 's middags naar boven te rijden om het uitzicht vanaf het Kruis te zien.

DuPont State Forest is een droom voor buitenliefhebbers met veel watervallen, waaronder: Hooker Falls, High Falls, Triple Falls, Grassy Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wintergreen Falls en meer. Het heeft 86 mijl van wandelen / fietsen / paardrijden paden op meer dan 10.000 hectare. Dupont is een van de topbestemmingen voor mountainbiken in het zuidoosten.

Het huis heeft voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor 3-4 auto's, een mooie veranda voor sterren kijken 's nachts plus een groot dek achter om rond te hangen met de familie en te koken op de gasgrill. De keuken is wijd open met nieuwe werkbladen, nieuw afgewerkte kasten vol met nieuwe borden, potten, pannen en veel ruimte voor het repareren van maaltijden. Er is overal genoeg zitplaatsen voor ontspannende, stevige hickory-vloeren door het hele huis, nieuwe badkamers en armaturen. De banken, 3 bedden, handdoeken, beddengoed, wasmachine en droger zijn allemaal nieuw. Er is een 55-inch Vizio Smart-tv in de woonkamer en een 32-inch Vizio-tv in de grote slaapkamer, beide met een rechtstreekse tv. Het huis heeft 2 open haarden binnen en een vuurplaats in de voortuin.

Good place, clean, good mattresses. I’m giving an ok rating because there is a musty smell when you first enter. Opening windows and running the fans helped. The washer and dryer are in the utility room. That area has a strong musty/mildew smell. I could not stay in there long when I was doing laundry.

Love this place

The house was cute and very clean, and the location was great. Unfortunately, the hot water heater froze because of the record lows they were having, and we had to move to another house. Destination Pretty Place

We came to the area for my Nephew's wedding at The Pretty Place Chapel. My parents, my husband, and myself. We ended up with the happy couples 1 year old the majority of our stay. The house was very clean and welcoming. Patti was very responsive. We were located right between the Chapel and the house that was rented for the entire Bridal Party. It was a wonderful week. Another awesome bike trip

Location location location. This property sits comfortably right at the edge of DuPont St Forrest. We’ve stayed here twice now for our annual mtn bike trip and it’s perfect. The hosts keep it clean and it’s perfect for what we needed. Supper close to the trails and comfy for us to relax and unwind in.

Great house, Great Location!!

Looking for something different than oceans, theme parks, and blistering heat. Found this cute home in Cedar Mountain, NC and headed north. The property and house are surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers by the porch. The owners communicated promptly with instructions and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The instructions were clear and easy to follow with a personal feel. The inside of the house is decorated with pictures of some of the sights and maps with directions of things to see. There were maps and guides as well as recommended restaurants close by if you are looking for stuff to do while you're there (there was WAY more to do than we could fit in a week and we really tried!). The house is in the perfect location close to Dupont and Pisgah trails and falls. We could've spent the entire week hiking trails and seeing the falls/ forest sights and still not done it all. There are tons of things nearby like fly fishing guides, canoeing/ kayaking/ tubing, the blue ridge parkway, the town of Brevard (shops), and more. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything needed to fix 3 meals a day if you want, there were cozy blankets on the couches, and plenty of towels/ linens. There's a covered porch with chairs in the front and a cute deck with a table & chairs in the back to sit outside and enjoy the view. Great house, great location!
