What a gorgeous property! It’s like a park, it is a park. The hotel gives the rustic modern lodge vibe. We like how convenient it was to get anywhere from there, what a surprise to us and a hidden (literally) gem.

I was surprised when I had to have housekeeping bring a tv channel guide to my room because it was supplied only on request. I suppose if you saved a piece of paper per room (if you had to every day), then it maybe cost savings. Also all the amenities should be written provided instead of a someone telling you on check-ln hopefully you’ll remember

Interesting hotel property. Very large with lots going on. Various conferences, etc possible during any stay. In house restaurant and a bar. My room was good. A little dated and not well stocked (gel soaps in every category were near bare empty) but good. Towels were new, soft, and fluffy. Would probably not stay again - largely because this property has a lot going on.

The property had a very nice outdoor space that we could walk. Our room also had a balcony overlooking some woods, so it was very nice.

Doors were not working. Took 4 trips to the front desk and maintenance to get fixed. We were 1 or at least 8 ppl that were in the same situation. Offered breakfast….we already paid for breakfast through Expedia….no other compensation was offered

This was a gorgeous, sprawling resort with a great lobby bar, and comfortable places to hang out and read. It was a short drive from everywhere we wanted to go. My biggest complaint is that the vending machines didn’t accept credit cards!

We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights, they did not even come to pick up our trash and we had and infant with us. Tried calling reception for supply no one ever picked up! It felt like once you get room no one cares till you check out!

This is my worst experience in the hotel. I tried 4 times to get the correct room key work with one technician assistance. The technician walked with me to try 2 keys, only one is good. I never have it again. The assigned room is very noisy. I can hear the water running from hoses and water flushing down the sewer lines around the neighbor rooms. The worst is from the nearby elevator.

Do not stay here
Upon entry into the lodge, there was a sticky note on the outside door that read “door unlocked.” That is a safety issue! This place is DATED! Seems like this place hasn’t been touched since it opened. There is a spider on our window shade and another bug near the bathroom door. When we woke up on our final morning, housekeeping tried to get into our room without knocking or announcing themselves at 9AM!! That is insane! No apologies or anything! However, the room doesn’t small bad and the shower gets hot. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Not even for one night.

I loved the area and the amenities during my stay! The room was nice but could be updated. Check in staff was amazing but housekeeping knocked four times before 10 am and said that checkout was at 10 am and that we needed to leave immediately which was very rude and misleading since checkout was really at 11 am

Location location location, great view. Love the fireplace YAZZZZZ… the open see out Windows in hallway and the balcony attached to the room, r great view. The Buffet breakfast BEST SO FAR on all my years of traveling. I look forward to a longer stay.

This hotel was a great stay. We were here for a long birthday weekend and it was in the perfect location just outside the city. Uber rides were cheap since it was close to the city. The hotel has great accommodations and the bar was beautiful.

Was impressed with what the Resort had to offer it's clients. The road leading to the Resort was poorly maintained and made you wonder "Where in the world am I going"? Once there, everything's just fine!

My boyfriend and I took a lil getaway to Asheville...we enjoyed our stay at the Crown Plaza...it was in a central location...close to downtown area.

When we arrived, there was an enormous amount of people all over the property. Very loud like a big party. It was 10:30 PM when we arrived. We checked in and walked to our room. Immediately the smell of cigarette smoke overpowered us. Then as we checked the room more it was dirty and we could hear all the noise from the rooms next door and in the hallway. We went back to the desk to ask for a different room. They said they had no other rooms and offered us room spray to cover the smell. We asked for a refund. He again offered room spray. We demanded a refund. Expedia was phenomenal in assisting with this part. Would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel!
