Dit is een van de nieuwere toevoegingen aan onze cabine familie. Het heeft een mooie 4 persoons hot tub, gas open haard, gas grill en een volledige keuken met granieten aanrechtbladen. Het heeft grote bosrijke uitzichten waar u de herinneringen tot leven kan brengen. Mobiele telefoon service is minimaal (Verizon werkt over het beste), maar wifi is redelijk goed in deze cabine. Dit is een hut die u na een lange dag van wandelen in het bos of in het centrum van Asheville terug wilt komen. Het is zeer afgelegen voor die speciale tijden.

Our stay was perfect! The house and amenities were exactly as described. Check in was simple and we had no issues at all. We were warm and it was quiet. We loved the hot tub! I will say this...access to the cabin is challenging, depending on the weather and the capabilities of your vehicle. We stayed during a stretch of mild weather, right before an ice storm. We had an all-wheel drive SUV. We didn't have any issues, but the road to the cabin is STEEP. Ice would have made the trek very difficult. I recommend planning for weather and make sure your vehicle is able to handle it - I would not have wanted to try it in my little economy car!

What an amazing place to stay! This whole property was well thought out and designed amazing. Multiple cabins on the hillside, yet provides a feeling of privacy and comfort. I do suggest arriving before the sun sets. It may be an adventure locating the cabin you have rented, and turning around is tight in some (most) spots, though there is a turn around spot at the very bottom to double back. This place is amazing, I would recommend it to anyone, and I most certainly will be coming back to stay in the future.

Pleasant and quiet visit

Comfortable and cozy stay in this cabin! Prompt and clear communication with owners during our stay was much appreciated. Repeat visits to the same cabin/area and love that we have the same great experience each time. Amenities are as listed. Check in/out process is simple. Far enough away from the noise of the city, but a decent drive into town. Perfect stay for our anniversary. We plan to return again soon.

The cabin is super cute, the owners are very quick to respond to questions. I would only say that I was a little surprised that soap for the shower, even if a tiny bar soap, was not included with the stay. But everything else was great.

Location. Location. Location

While the cabin was clean, cite and well-stocked. It is NOT in Asheville. I understand Asheville is a selling point. But this cabin is 100% in Candler, NC. Which if you know the area is NOT a selling point. Other than saying it was in Candler, my only other qualm was the driveway. 4x4 or not if there is ANY amount of snow or ice on the ground you are not getting out of there. To get to the cabin Little stoney fork is Gravel. (Uneven and pot holes) the road to the cabin IS paved but it is straight up and down. I had an all wheel drive and it struggled in dry conditions trying to climb up the side of the mountain. Not ideal in winter weather. I also wish they had shown a picture of how close the other cabins are. There are 3 other cabins visible from your deck where the hottub is... Like I said. The cabin is cute. Well stocked. Had good internet for me. Nice tv selections. Location was a downer for me.

Lovely mountain cabin

This is a perfect little cabin for a get away with your partner! We loved the hot tub and near by hiking trails. I will say 4 wheel drive is necessary. My rear wheel drive sedan could barely make it out when it was dry. Over all our stay was a great experience. Would book again!

Quiet cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our weekend at this quiet little cabin. Check in was easy and it was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and peaceful setting. We hiked the Chestnut Ridge Trail, an easy in and out 3 mile hike, which was only about 5 minutes from the cabin. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

Everything was basically great. The commode didn’t seemed fastened tight and on Tuesday a fellow was leaf blowing our driveway including our car and came right up to our porch with his leaf blower. . We did not appreciate that . I would not give a bad review just because of that.

35th Anniversary trip

We picked this cabin to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We wanted something close to Asheville and Chimney Rock. It was a great location near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Cabin was very clean and had all the amenities. Wi-fi was great and allows us to get phone calls on site. There is no cell service, but you can get phone/data access through the Wi-fi. It took only 10 to 15 minutes to get to stores and restaurants and 25 minutes to Asheville. There is a 50 feet walk from the parking pad to the front porch door with many roots and uneven steps (crossties). Please make sure you are aware as you have to carry your luggage and items along this path. Hot tub was great, but we were unable to get the jets to go stronger. Otherwise, cabin and bed were comfortable. Lastly, you need to be careful if you have a full size SUV while driving on the roads within the neighborhood as they are very steep with huge drop offs. If driving at night, you need to really pay attention to the angles of the road/drives to the cabin. Huge SUV's and large trucks have tight turning issues and sometimes you can't see over your hood, so be careful. Otherwise you should be ok. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away for a quiet intimate stay.
