Wij nodigen u uit om te genieten van onze nieuwe hut met 3 slaapkamers (2 koninginnen met een loft als derde slaapkamer) in de gated community van Riverbend op slechts 10 minuten ten oosten van het openbare strand van Lake Lure. Onze hut is een waar toevluchtsoord in een serene omgeving inclusief toegang tot (en de winter uitzicht op) Mirror Lake, Little Mirror Lake en Broad River. Geniet van zwemmen, slangen, vissen en varen.
De twee queensize bedden beneden hebben beide traagschuim toppers en zachte lakens. De bovenverdieping loft heeft twee zeer comfortabele twee aparte bedden en een volledige futon (en veel bordspellen, boeken en een tafelvoetbal tafel).
De volledig uitgeruste moderne keuken, met alle roestvrijstalen apparaten, biedt plaats aan maximaal 8. Gezellig tot een warm vuur met de prachtige stenen open haard. We hebben nu gratis wifi met Verizon en een Netflix-account, zodat u films / shows kunt streamen. Meer dan 50 dvd's om naar te kijken.
We zijn hondvriendelijk en hebben twee hondenbedden, riemen, tassen, hondenkommen en lekkernijen. Er is een vergoeding van $ 80 voor het meenemen van uw hond (en) - maximaal twee honden. Als je een 3e hond hebt, wordt er $ 40 extra in rekening gebracht.
Onze eivormige stoelen op de veranda zijn perfect voor het drinken van limonade op een warme zomerdag.
De vuurplaats is toegestaan voor huurders zolang er een brandvergunning aanwezig is. We hebben momenteel een brandvergunning.
We zijn trots op het gebruik van natuurlijke reinigingsproducten, waaronder essentiële oliën van Doterra.

Onze hut ligt op 10 minuten van Lake Lure, 15 minuten naar Chimney Rock, 30 minuten naar Tryon (TIEC), 45 minuten naar Black Mountain, 60 minuten naar Asheville (iets minder dan een uur naar de luchthaven Avl).
Dichtbij is zip lining, wandelen, zwemmen, paardrijden, varen, slangen, wildwatervaren, golf, yoga, brouwerijen, Rumbling Bald Resort, Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn en nog veel meer.

This is a beautiful, cozy cabin. We wanted a nice quiet getaway for my husband’s birthday and it was perfect. This was a pet friendly cabin and this was the first time we had traveled with our two small dogs. The owners have made it very pet friendly with a fenced run space and deck gates. They also had extra leashes, dog bowls, beds, etc. our pups especially enjoyed sleeping by the fireplace. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed our afternoon walks. It is very private and peaceful. Karen was very accommodating and checked on us to make sure we were good. The cabin is very close to groceries and several nice restaurants. I imagine the lake area is very busy during the summer months with kayaking and swimming. We look forward to booking another trip to this beautiful area soon!

We had no idea how peaceful a vacation rental could be! When we pulled up to the house and got out of our truck, the first thing we noticed was how quiet it was....nothing but leaves rustling in the breeze and the scampering of the many different woodland creatures. Soaring ceilings, wide open spaces, and huge windows letting in the bright sunlight. Photos provided on websites do not show the amount of space here! Everything was in pristine condition (I'm one that usually cleans a rental before bringing my belongings in, didn't need to here!), and smelled fresh. The furniture and decor is welcoming and "cabin-y". Dog beds, blankets, bowls are all provided (although we took our own), and our pups felt right at home once we got all their stuff inside. The bathroom was well appointed, however a bit small overall. I spent my mornings sitting in one of the very comfortable egg chairs on the deck, having tea, just listening to nothing...perfection. The only problem we had (which is in NO way negative to the property) were the steps leading from the parking area to the house. We are both older and have mobility issues, so unloading/loading were difficult for us. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely recommend this property if you are in the Lake Lure area!! I only wish I could have bagged up the tranquility to bring home and spread over my own home. Thank you Karen and Dave for sharing your beautiful home!!

There aren’t enough stars to help me review our stay! The cabin was exactly as described in the property details. From the use of the keypad to enter the cabin to every detail of the setup of the cabin to the outside amenities, it was amazing! We loved sitting on the decks looking out at the beautiful scenery. Our two dogs, Gibbs and Kate, loved both the pen and the free-range front yard. We all loved just sitting and enjoying the God-provided serenity of your cabin. We loved our stay….everything was easy from check in to check out and the house was super well stocked with all the essentials! The property is very well set up for dogs. Close proximity to all the good areas, and the Lake was very clean (although cold and rainy). Beautiful scenery and the Nature walk near the waterfall is a must. Karen was a great host!

Cozy cabin in the forest

First off, Karen is the most gracious and accommodating hostess. She was so responsive to my inquiries and checked up on us. The cabin was a little tricky to get to, but I blame that on us being from flat Texas and unused to hilly terrain. But we got the hang of it. The cabin was so quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was already in the cabin. Very pet friendly. Our furries loved it. We did day excursions to hike and shop. Great area and great place. I would highly recommend.

Love staying in Riverbend

The cabin is very nice and the location is excellent. We have stayed in Riverbend before, but being on the side of the swimming lake was great!! We really appreciated the ability to use floats and chairs! Nice firepit in the front yard and the fenced in run with the gated porch is perfect for most dogs (our 9 pound mini could get out, but she is fine on a leash). I thought the listing said lake view, but we could not really see the lake from the porch. Maybe in the winter you would see more, but when the trees are full, there really is not a view. That is the only reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

Pup Friendly Beautiful Cabin in the Thick Wooded Mountains

After traveling for two days our 15 year old Amstaff was happy to be greeted with a basket full of dog toys! When you welcome our pup you welcome us! With a secure wrap around porch that leads to a secure fenced grassy area this was the most freedom our dog, Sir Hershel, has experienced! The cabin was clean and fully stocked with all the items needed for cooking and enjoying time in the mountains. Karen (the owner) was a great communicator checking to make sure all was well. She responded to all our inquiries within minutes. She was friendly and welcoming. The owners have gone the extra mile here to make sure it would be a great stay! The area is beautiful with lakes and waterfall hikes. We will be back! This cabin is located in a remote, private mountain community.

Blissful Getaway!

We ate breakfast every morning on the back deck with our dog, Magnus. Trails galore to walk him on. The ones with rushing water beside them were so calming. After our walks, the hanging chairs on the front porch were a dream to hang out in with a cool drink and my Nintendo Switch. For dinners with a big dog; we were able to eat at the Lake House Restaurant on the lower deck where the boat slips are, at the Highland we were able to walk him through and eat on the back deck, and behind the Tiki Hut Bar there were several picnic tables right by the rushing water (people were swimming and fishing). In the evenings we watched one or two of our shows on an app whilst pooped Magnus didn’t even budge. A tired dog is a good dog. :) We also made a fire one night and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Everything was well stocked. Door lock worked perfectly. Wifi worked perfectly. Carpenter Bee Note: I read online that a fake wasp nest would deter them, so I used empty plastic grocery bags and hung them up in the areas that we sat outside. It reduced the number of them a bit. We will definitely be back!! So much appreciation for welcoming a big dog!! Bless you Karen and Dave.

Thanksgiving 2024

What a great Thanksgiving at this property. The location and views were outstanding. The home was very well equipped and we were able to prepare a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for our family. I was bummed out we couldn’t use the fire pit out side due to a burn ban, but the gas logs in the living room was nice to have. The big toaster oven was a nice touch, it worked nice to cook up some snacks instead of using the oven. Having the fenced in area for dogs was nice to have, and also having the amenities for the dogs was a nice to have as well. Less for us to pack. This was our 3rd trip to Lake Lure, we really enjoy spending time here.

Karen was so very helpful and answered ALL my questions and even updated us with things going on around us during our stay. The property is great! Clean, peaceful, dog friendly, Very Zen like! We were able to swim in lake and paddleboard which was fun! We hiked in lake lure at trails by Ingles 5 mins down the main road! Went to chimney rock village & park Beautiful! Don't miss the Flowering bridge! Ate at La Strada, and got great sandwiches at Ingles! Went to Hendersonville and Brevard (our favorite bakery there Blue Ridge Bakery YUM! Plus visited lots of other places (read visitors book) There is lots to do all around there and then come back to relax at cabin! We had a Great time and will return! Overall the property was just as described with no major issues. My only concerns were: 1. Dog poop was found in the loft area under the bed when arrived. It was not our dog's either. 2. No firewood was provided. There was some in the pit we were able to use but not what as stated in the ad. I would not hesitate to come back to this place and view these issues as minor. It was a great time and relaxing.

Perfect peaceful getaway

Karen was very helpful and responsive. This cabin was the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. It also had an excellent setup for dogs. Would strongly recommend staying here.
