My spouse and I had the pleasure of staying in the elegant and beautifully appointed apartment hosted by John and Milan in south Asheville. This is not a complaint, just an FYI. It was a little dusty, especially the sofa and love seat. When it was smacked, you can see the dust flying off it. The host was friendly and spoke with us for a while. Overall, we liked the place very much and would stay there again.

This was our first trip to Asheville. The location was convenient, providing an easy drive to every location we visited. The apartment was private, and very comfortable after long days of exploring the town and surrounding areas. Great hosts as well, with great recommendations for local experiences and restaurants. For example, the recommendation for dining at the Grove Inn was excellent, as the views were amazing. Overall, it was a great stay! Thanks!

Fantastic Place
So we arrived in Asheville just after the hard freeze. All restaurants in the area were Closed due to no water. All we could do was go to the grocery and cook. What a great kitchen. The entire place was Magical. The hosts (John and Milan) were wonderful and gracious and so welcoming. The place was exactly as advertised. Even the sheets were pressed. Thank John and Milan for a wonderful two days. We will certainly be back.

I am sure it was disappointing you had to cook during your vacation at least, we were fortunate we have well water we can hook up to in emergency like this. Carriage House splendor
This property is beautifully appointed. The location is very quite with a real country atmosphere, even though you are just steps away from Asheville. The hosts were very helpful and gracious. I would stay here again if the need arose and would definitely recommend it as an elegant get-away.

Milan is a great host. Apartment was spotless and it has everything you need and more. Bed is very comfortable and it is very quite area. Milan even bakes cookies for you when you arrive. We would definitely stay there again.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our time staying in the Carriage House. Hosts Milan and John were responsive from the moment we made the reservation, met us when we arrived, welcomed us with cookies and made us feel right at home. The rental is thoughtfully designed, private, and filled with amenities to make you never want to leave. A full kitchen with appliances, coffee maker, full size refrigerator and freezer, etc. Had we stayed longer we would have definitely cooked meals there. They provide a singular experience for anyone wanting a truly special option away from hotel lodgings. The bathroom is beautiful, the furnishings are elevated yet comfortable, and the bed and bedding were some of the best we have experienced in our travels. As we have relatives in Asheville, this will be our first choice every time we visit.

Cherryboy Birthday Getaway
Milan was wonderful! It was a pleasure to stay in her guest house. The pictures are just was you will see when you arrive. It was emmaculate. Just like a home away from home. The location was private but we're close to all of the towns amenities. The homemade chocolate chip and pecan cookies were made fresh and hot. They were delicious! I wanted some more but I didn't want to be greedy. If I visit Asheville again I will make sure to book with her again. I love you Milan! Thanks for your great hospitality!!!

Carriage house was quaint and beautifully decorated. It is in a beautiful area outside of Asheville proper. We loved the coziness and the open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. We are planning on returning hopefully in the fall. Our hosts were very accommodating and we loved talking with them. Warm chocolate chip cookies were their waiting for us when we arrived. Amazing stay!
Milan has done a wonderful job creating a comfortable, beautiful, safe and a unique VRBO! I have traveled once a month, for the last 4 months to work remotely and experience our amazing country. Milan’s VRBO was a perfect home base because it was extremely clean, the bed so comfortable, internet connection awesome and the artistic atmosphere was a real treat. During my stay, I enjoyed the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway, NC Arboretum, Biltmore, and a variety of great restaurants. I would highly recommend this beautiful VRBO!!

Perfect couple's retreat
We visited Asheville for our anniversary and had a marvelous time using the carriage house apartment as our home base. It's absolutely beautiful and brilliantly planned out for ease of use. It's even more luxurious than it appears in the pictures! The location is excellent as well: roughly 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, and maybe 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We didn't visit the Biltmore House on this trip, but it would be easily accessible, too. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet with lovely landscaping and homes. To our kind and helpful hosts: Thank you so much for the restful retreat you've created. We'll definitely be back for another parents' weekend away!

Perfect New Years Eve Getaway Spot
We were looking for a nice place where we could enjoy the sights of Asheville and yet have a evening in on New Years Eve because my sweetheart wanted to cook me dinner, and this was the picture perfect spot! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Asheville!
Milan was so attentive and kind. We had a marvelous stay, I slept better than I have in ages, totally quiet, relaxing and beautiful neighborhood. You have total privacy and the place is so nice and clean! The decor is exquisite and declicate. You have everything you need when you stay here. Just do it! We were less than ten minutes away from our two favorite restaurants- Wild Ginger and India Garden. Amaaaazing food. Whole Foods and Ingles are just around the corner. And we were also just about 10-15 minutes from the Biltmore Estate, which was the point of our stay. Milan is the best host!

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend in Asheville. There are so many things to see and do in the area, we had a hard time deciding what to do each day. We visited tourist sites, national forests and drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway. One of the best aspects of our trip was returning each night to this beautiful, quiet, peaceful suite.
