'This is a nice hotel in a truly spectaculair situation. And what a vieuw! If you’re looking for luxury and large rooms this is not for you. But it is in a building with character and charm. Nice room and bathroom, clean, good bed and pillows and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Carpets on the floor, not my favorite in any hotel, not hygiënic. For eldery people the roads are steep and slippery (cobblestones). No parking. Rye is truly charming, well worth a visit! '

'Nice accomodation for a short stay. Friendly and accommodating owner. Variety in continental breakfast was rather poor, but quantity was sufficient. The double bed was too small for 2 adults. We stayed in the disabled-room, but there was not enough room do move around in a wheelchair. After moving some furniture around, we made it work.'

'Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.'

'Wij waren hier voor de 2e keer, maar ook voor de laatste keer. Kamer 10. Raam bleef niet open en het was stikheet in de kamer. Badkamer...Ik ben klein maar kon in de douche/bad niet staan...plafond te laag....doucheslang veel te kort....En waterstraal niet noemenswaardig...En als je van temperatuurwisseling houd.....er was geen peil op te trekken hoe je constant warm water kon tappen...'

No information on which room we had booked.No key in key safe.We only gained access due to a helpful fellow resident, who let us in and helped us find a free room.Room poorly maintained with curtains held up by string and blinds broken.Altogether very poor'

'We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is...
