This was a very disappointing stay in my hometown of Ashland. While the young lady who met us at the desk was pleasant, she kept telling me about all the things we can't do. That must have included the broken down hot tub, which we really wanted.
The real issues came from cleanliness. The hallways had a certain odor that was not welcoming. Our room was VERY musty and smelled of old basement. The windows have not been cleaned in forever. The carpet had a damp, squishy quality to it. The lights were unwelcome hospital lights.
On a good note, the bed was okay and the sheets were clean from what we could tell. The in room chair was moldy, which made it hard to sleep with the smell.
Finally, not all the lights in the bathroom did not work.
While we would have said something, I feared I would just be told nothing else was available. We just endured for one night.
Breakfast was okay at best.
