'We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.'
'A bargain for Sunday night into Monday morning and right on the doorstep of who I was meeting. Lovely spot right by Chichester Cathedral with underground parking very near and easily accessible presuming you are OK on your legs and don't mind steps. '
'Property was clean and as a family we felt safe staying there. Room was a nice size and our stay there was good.
The parking outside was often difficult to find spaces and due to permit holder restrictions 4:30pm-6:30pm you have to lose your space every day you stay.
If you have a large vehicle you need to park I would not recommend any accomodation in this area.
Not the fault of the owner though and if you don't require parking for a large vehicle it's a fine accomodation.'
'We had a fantastic stay, including our dog, she enjoyed all the facilities and high level care given to us all. Never have we stayed anywhere so dog friendly but still had high standards. Staff were friendly, attentive and food was good.
We had spa treatments which were excellent and enjoyed the spa facilities too. The wonderful walks around the Goodwood estate.

'property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...
