The Space:
Welcome to the Cottage & Spartan RV Retreat!

Step into the cozy cottage living room, where you'll find a couch, TV, and a two-seat table—perfect for sipping your morning coffee while enjoying serene views of the Ashtabula Harbor and lighthouse, right from the window.

To the left, the guest bedroom features twin-size bunk beds and a convenient closet. The vintage-style kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals and includes seating for four. Just off the kitchen, the master bedroom offers a king-size bed, TV, desk for remote work, and a private half bath.

At the back of the kitchen, you’ll find the full bathroom, featuring a spacious shower, plush towels, and luxurious soaps—along with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Just steps from the cottage is the beautifully restored Spartan RV. Inside, you'll enter the living room with a queen-size pull-out couch, then pass through the kitchen with seating for four. At the rear, the RV’s bedroom features a king-size bed and a large TV—offering extra space for your group.

Outdoor living is equally inviting, with a front patio that includes a dining table, lounge chairs, and two fire pits—perfect for stargazing or evening conversations. Out back, you’ll find a kennel with two dog igloos and a large stainless steel table, ideal for cleaning the catch of the day after a fishing trip.

Whether you’re here to explore the area or simply relax, this peaceful retreat offers comfort, charm, and one of the best views of the Ashtabula Lighthouse in town.

Guest Access:
Guests will be given a unique code to check themselves in. You will have access to the entire property and won't see us unless you need something!

Just minutes from the historic Ashtabula Harbor, this house is ideally located near Bridge Street’s vibrant shops, waterfront restaurants, and scenic Lake Erie views. Enjoy relaxing days at Walnut Beach, explore local parks and trails, or take a drive through Ohio’s famous wine country and covered bridges. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and welcoming—perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to unwind while staying close to all the action.

Getting Around:
While Ashtabula is a small town, there are several easy ways to get around during your stay:

🚕 Taxis & Ride Services: Local taxis like City Taxicab and Lake Shore Taxi operate in the area. Uber is also available, though wait times may be longer than in larger cities—so scheduling ahead is recommended.

🚌 Public Transit: The Ashtabula County Transportation System (ACTS) offers flexible, curbside pickup if scheduled 24 hours in advance. It’s a helpful option if you're not renting a car.

🍷 Wine & Tour Shuttles: For group outings, wine tours, or bridge tours, Richmond Trolley and Sunset Transportation offer convenient and fun transport options. Perfect for a day of exploring!

Other Things to Note:
The RV is only available to rent in the spring, summer and fall months.
The RV does not have running water so the bathroom and kitchen are not for use.
