'Nice hotel which is reasonably close to the airport. Shuttle service (one way) from the hotel to the airport is a bonus. Too bad there's no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Not sure why. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and is the only dining option available. We didn't see any restaurants within walking distance. Our only complaint is that our room was very warm even with the window opened and the thermostat turned OFF. We couldn't understand why, since this is a first floor room....

'We stayed in the family room with the priate bathroom. Its on the first floor and was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. Its right next to the kitchen, but its alsp on the ground floor so you may hear some noise from the upstairs guests. This guesthouse is right next to Gott, which is a FABULOUS restaurant at which we dined for both lunch and dinner. It's within a few blocks of a pharmacy and one of the hiking trailheads. '

'This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. The property was also lovely and cosy. Not cold at all.'

'Great property. Our group lives in the city, so to stay in the middle of a horse farm and watch the sunset in complete silence is something we rarely get to experience. The service was accommodating. Full kitchen and appliances for cooking. Quick access to a friendly Icelandic town and other south coast attractions. '
