'Have stayed at a lot of nice hotels thanks to work travel. This trip was leisure with the family and this hotel is by far the nicest I've ever stayed at. We even canceled a night at another hotel in Denver to extend our stay here. The price was unbelievable, the hotel pool & hot tubes are phenomenal, rooms are incredible. Wish I took advantage of the spa. We also stayed one night at the Ameristar down the street on this trip. It was nice but Monarch is absolutely worth the extra $50 dollars...

'Marriott is a decent hotel chain pretending to be upscale, but this one is showing cracks of shoddy building (wall sockets with not yet unsafe give, faucets that go too difficulty) and service is very friendly but when a false fire alarm occurred they handled it quite poorly. Rooms were nicely cleaned, quite a bit of cleaning and perfume scents though. I'd consider this as a reasonable backup hotel, but would look elsewhere first.'
