Tranquil House on 3/4 Acre Near Downtown

Well-appointed family home located just minutes from downtown Atascadero, but with the peacefulness of 3/4 rural acre in a quiet neighborhood. Within walking distance to downtown, Joy Park, and City Hall. Wonderful central location 15-20 minutes to the beach in Morro Bay, the wine country in Paso, and San Luis Obispo.

Welcome to our home! Very comfortable and well-appointed house for a relaxing stay. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, Joy park, and Gather Natural Foods. Even with this convenient location, the neighborhood is one of large, rural properties and is quiet and peaceful. Sit on the covered back porch and enjoy the peaceful view into the majestic oak circle - with the water fountain and overhead mister for hot days

Entering the house you find original paintings by local artists, tons of books and magazines, and custom selected antique pieces. You will find custom touches throughout, including hand-painted lightswitch covers. The couches have been selected for comfort, and the beds for different needs - the main bedroom has a soft mattress and the second bedroom firmer ones.

There is a whole-house carbon-filtered, antimicrobial water softener and RO drinking water. We use non-toxic biodegradable products and the soaps are Method and Seventh Generation. We have provided conventional cleaning and laundry products for guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, including a variety of specialty items: An absolutely stocked spice cart, All-Clad pans, a Cuisinart, Instant Pot, and air fryer. All general cooking utensils, dishes, and decent knives are also provided. We have a number of options for making coffee: Espresso machine, stovetop espresso machine, pour-over, and a regular coffee maker.

Entertainment : You will see how much we love books, but not bookcases, and you’re welcome to read anything during your stay. Please just put it back where you found it. We have toys and books for kids, and games for all ages. There is an Xbox 360 and games, a tree swing and treehouse in the second half of the half-acre backyard, and a trampoline in the first half. Both TVs have Rokus on guest mode for your logins. We also have an old school dvd/blueray player and a bunch of DVDs. Really.

There are blackout curtains in the second bedroom, ceiling fans in both rooms, and a sound machine in the main bedroom for sensitive sleepers. Both bedrooms have large walk-in closets with drawers for your convenience and luggage storage.
