Ancient Athens Great Apt Home Office w/Acropolis View

This renovated apartment (summer 2022) is a heartbeat away from Acropolis, at the famous and historic area of Plaka!

The apartment is located in a very strategy place, in Plaka, just under Acropolis. This is not a joke at all, you will be in the heart of Athens and I mean it!

The apartment has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms with a flat TV each and two bathrooms!

To get the apartment there is not an elevator. You have to climb ten steps to enter the apartment.

The whole property is fully air conditioned while there is also a boiler to provide you with hot water for 24/7. For the winter there is the option for heating with natural gas with extra cost .

Of course the beds are already made-up, with fresh ironed sheets from top quality. Furthermore there are clean towels for every single of you.

Entire property has free Wi-Fi!

Acropolis is the closest Metro station

Smoking is only allowed in the balcony

Common quiet hours 11:00 p.m. – 07:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Beautifully designed modern apartment. Everything is high quality, new, clean and working perfectly. Location is brilliant for access to all the Plaka area offers. Its literally on a square full of busy outdoor restaurants. Noisy in the main room at dinnertime, but the bedrooms were quiet. One thing - if you're planning on cooking, we found no salt, pepper or olive oil. Otherwise, its a lovely place - you won't be disappointed.

This was a perfect little apartment in the heart of Plaka. It was close to food, acropolis, walking distance to many sites. It was safe, clean, and George our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back someday!

Our stay in Athens was wonderful! The apartment was better than the pictures online. It was spacious, comfortable, and incredibly well-appointed. Bathrooms and beds are important to me. Both were great! The location was perfect. It was on a small plaza with good restaurants and easy walking distance to many of the important places to see. Could not recommend more highly!!

Das Appartement befindet sich in bester Lage im Viertel Plaka. Es gibt viele Restaurants und kleine Gassen mit Geschäften, die zum Bummeln einladen. Die Wohnung ist über einem der zahlreichen Restaurants. Die Metro ist sehr gut zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist auch in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr ordentlich und einladend. Die Kommunikation mit dem freundlichen Vermieter hat reibungslos funktioniert . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

This is a wonderful apartment right in the center of Plaka. The property is spacious, there are two bedrooms and bathrooms. The hosts were wonderful and arranged our transport to and from the airport. We highly recommend this apartment.

Our family’s stay in Athens was amazing, mostly due to the location of the home and the wonderful hospitality of the hosts and locals. The Plaka neighborhood is beautiful and buzzing with energy yet the home felt peaceful and provided us a little haven to rest up when we weren’t out exploring. We will hopefully stay again as we fell in love with Athens.

The location is outstanding; we were able to walk to all the main attractions and had great restaurants right outside our door. We highly recommend this apartment.

This apartment is right on a busy, sometimes loud square in Plaka, but the bedrooms are in the back, and with the AC on, the apartment was blissfully cool and quiet. Perfectly clean, had everything we needed, and a stylish modern vibe, very centrally located. Would recommend!

Truly beautiful inside and out. And even though right on the Plaka it’s completely quiet inside. George and his team are super responsive and kind. I can’t recommend this more highly. And that view of the acropolis—breathtaking!

We loved our stay at this apartment. The bedrooms were well appointed and the bathrooms were modern and huge! We liked that there were lots of drawers and closets for our belongings. The air conditioning was some of the best we've experienced in Europe. There was plenty of room for hanging out in the living area. George was helpful when checking us in. The location was great for reaching all the big tourist sights in Athens. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go (Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, etc). Note that this apartment is on a bustling square in a touristy area, so if you are looking for something off-the-beaten path, this isn't it. The area definitely got crowded at times. The apartment, however, was quiet and relaxing.

Perfect location to visit all the historic sites. No transport needed once arrive from airport. Transport was arranged for our group by the property manager. We walked everywhere (only 5-10 walk) to visit: Acropolis, Hadrian’s Arch, National Park, Tomb of Unknown Soldier, food, and shops. A little loud in evenings if trying to sleep due to nearby restaurants, but didn’t matter to our group.

The location is fantastic! You are in Plaka and can walk the entire city easily. The apartment is luxurious, although VRBO could have supplied more personal amenities such as toilet paper, dishwasher soap, towels, etc. Otherwise, we significantly enjoyed our stay there. Also, we used VRBO to book our transfers to and from the airport and a day long trip to Meteora for four. Transportation was A+.

The property was very nice and well presented. George was very communicative about the process from the very beginning. The apartment is located in the heart of Plaka and within walking distance of the Acropolis and the other Athens sites. I would recommend this location and property to anyone! This is one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in. The apartment is very light, spacious, stylish and comfortable and no more than a 10 min walk from all the sites, with good restaurants close by (the Ionos restaurant downstairs makes a very good Aperol Spritz!) Two good sized ensuite bedrooms with very comfy beds - both bedrooms are at the back of the apartment so you do not hear anything from the square outside the front. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Athens and highly recommend the apartment.

This is one property that exceeded our expectations. We signed up for an airport pickup and Vasili was really knowledgeable on Greek history and the historical sites which was a good introduction to the country. The apartment is located in the heart of the Plaka with restaurants all around it. You step outside of the apartment and to the left is the perfect spot for capuchinos. The Acropolis is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment had two nice sized bedrooms and two enormous bathrooms. Apartment was tastefully decorated as well. Finally, property manager George was very prompt in his correspondence. Overall an amazing apartment at a great location.

Great location for all highlights of Athens! The apartment was spotless, well equipped, and the host was very accommodating. We were pleased with the optional shuttle service as well. Would definitely book with this host again.
