Het hotel ligt op mooie locatie. Er is alleen in de directe omgeving niet zo veel te doen, dus als je de omgeving wilt verkennen is een huurauto wel gewenst. De zwembaden en ligbedden bij het zwembad zijn goed verzorgd. Het fitness center valt zwaar tegen. Er staan letterlijk een loopband, crosstrainer en fiets naast het binnenbad (in de vochtige chloor lucht). Bij de spa is wel een betere faciliteit maar daar durven ze daadwerkelijk 20 euro per keer voor te vragen, ronduit belachelijk! De service is best ok, al moet ik zeggen dat mijn ervaring met de gastvrijheid op de griekse eilanden stukken beter is.

Vijf sterren - ik denk het niet!
Het hotel ziet er van buiten keurig uit en ligt direct aan het strand. Zeker in de herfst heb je hier redelijk weinig aan - maar dat wisten wij natuurlijk van tevoren. Het hotel zelf lijkt op het eerste oog schoon en goed verzorgd. Wij hadden en executive kamer met zicht op het water geboekt. De uitzicht was ook erg leuk. De kamer zelf was erg klein voor en executive kamer en ook niet bijzonder schoon. Vaak heb ik lange zwarte haren van het bed en in de badkamer gevonden die duidelijk niet van ons waren. Stof verzamelde zich in de hoeken van de kamer en werd niet weggehaald. De binnenzwembad was erg klein en de fitness apparatuur was voor 80% gewoon kapot en niet te gebruiken. Er was wel en andere erg mooie zwembad en fitness ruimte maar die hoorde bij de spa en was dus extra te betalen. De prijzen voor eten en drinken in het hotel zijn wel 5 sterren prijzen - de kwaliteit niet helemaal. In de buurt zijn en aantal vis restaurants met weinig vlees op de menu - dus als je daar niet van houd kan je beter in Athene ergens eten.

Fantastisch hotel, goede ligging qua Athene, mooi privé strand en twee zwembaden. Leuke stadjes in de omgeving en mogelijkheid om eilandjes te bezoeken.

I stayed three nights here in February. The most appreciated aspects were the seaside view, the sauna, the breakfast buffet, the complimentary shuttle service, and above all else, the friendly and professional staff. However, all in all, this hotel—and perhaps hotels in general—has come to be outdated. The pictures are highly deceiving. The only pool available to me at the time was a small, cold pool in the gym area. The gym itself was nothing more than some weights and few machines, some of which out of order. While I paid for a deluxe suite, those pictures too are highly deceptive; the room is small and uses the illusion of mirrors, and had no bathtub, and no smart TV for streaming purposes. The surrounding area is a beautiful seaside, with a shallow sand-bar beach. But as for access to restaurants and shopping, this area cannot compete with downtown Athens. There are a few (nice) seaside restaurants to choose from out front, but you are largely surrounded by residential buildings. If you want to take a 15-20 minute stroll, you’ll find a more lively strip for shopping and dining. Overall, for the price, this hotel could not compete with the amenities available with Airbnbs, nor the centrality of downtown Athens. Perhaps this hotel is best for business meetings, and those who desire to utilize the spa.

It was a beautiful hotel. My husband and I stayed for a week and we enjoyed our stay. I would suggest the hotel to have the indoor pool water at a more warmer temperature. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool because the water was freezing and we weren’t the only ones who couldn’t get in for the same reason. We wanted to enjoy it since that day was windy and cold outside we wanted to stay in. Overall everything else was GREAt!

We stayed at Divani with 20 family members for our wedding in September. Despite the booking process not being entirely friendly/flexible (we opted to use expedia for a better price). The hotel was just what we needed. The bad first - we asked extremely far in advance if there was somewhere larger than our room that my partner and his groomsmen could get ready in, but they didn't really want to know. We would've paid but they wouldn't let us upgrade to suite and let us in it 2 hours early so timings didn't work. The good - everything else. The hotel is more like 4-4.5* but the food, service, drinks, pools etc are wonderful. Food and Drinks are expensive but faultless and the team at the pool restaurant can't do enough to help. The bar in the evening was enjoyable and the breakfast was superb. Plenty of options and staff always on hand to help. The bedrooms were nice but not the 'wow' you'd expect from a 5*, however nothing wrong with them and lovely views. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel spacious, the breakfast buffet excellent and plentiful, staff were all accommodating and friendly. The only negative is the lack of signs on the main road and the street behind the hotel. It was SO difficult to find, especially at night when there were no illuminated signs indicating the location of the hotel.

We stayed at the Divani Apollon palace Hotel while in Greece for our Niece’s wedding. The hotel was wonderful and all the staff were very friendly and professional . I would recommend it to anyone.

The property is very dated but it’s airy and friendly. It does not feel like a 5 star hotel but I know that it’s rated due to what facilities they offer. Just saying that it doesn’t match up some hotels are five star.
