Slaap tussen de mooiste kunstwerken van de mensheid met het oog gewoon onverslaanbaar !!!
Een prachtig appartement in handen van een paar architecten, Marios en Georgia. We noemden het "Peripatos" ("Wandeling" in het Oudgrieks), omdat iemand de meeste bezienswaardigheden van Athene op loopafstand kan bereiken.
U zult genieten van het Zolderlicht en de zon zal het appartement van alle kanten overspoelen, reflecterend op zijn witte marmeren vloer.
"Peripatos" is een volledig uitgerust penthouse-appartement met twee slaapkamers tegenover het nieuwe Akropolismuseum met een uniek uitzicht op het Parthenon.
Het appartement is momenteel gerenoveerd en zal medio april 2019 beschikbaar zijn. Het is zonnig en ruim (75 m²), ideaal voor koppels of gezinnen van vier. Je kunt nooit genoeg krijgen van het uitzicht op de Akropolis en deze prachtige en levendige buurt in het oude centrum van Athene!
Aan de overkant van de straat ziet u mogelijk de bushalte voor de open tourbussen van Athene die u naar klassieke en prachtige bestemmingen in de stranden van Athene, Piraeus en Riviera brengen. Het is ook een ontmoetingsplaats voor rondwandelende stadstours door Athene.

Perfect location for Plaka & Acropolis

We were only in Athens for 2 days & this was the perfect spot to walk to the acropolis & Plaka. The host was amazing & helped us set up a taxi that met us at the airport. Our driver was the best! He’s a friend of the owner so he knew where everything was & was able to point us in the direction of everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment has an amazing view of the Parthenon & we sat on the balcony sipping wine & enjoying the sites. The apartment had everything we could need & was very comfortable. The owner was easy to reach & very helpful.

Communication with host before arrival was excellent. She recommended a cab driver and helped arrange transportation. She provided advice for local restaurants. Property was clean with artsy modern decor. The location is the best. We walked everywear, acropolis, plaka, agora. Acropolis museum right across the street. Patio has a beautiful view of acropolis, especially at night. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location

Location could not have been better, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with hosts was great. They had some treats waiting for us on arrival, very thoughtful. Would recommend this property.

Fabulous!

We loved staying here! The apartment is lovely and very comfortable, and the views are amazing. We woke up every day and took our coffee onto the terrace to gaze up at the Acropolis. Even the bathroom has a perfect view! At night, the frieze is lit up inside the museum across the street and that's wonderful too. The neighbourhood is great with lots of cafés and shops to discover. And, Georgia and Marios are excellent hosts, very friendly and responsive. Highly, highly recommend!

Perfect Stay Near the Acropolis

My husband and I spent one week in Athens after completing a tour of Crete. We feel fortunate to have found this lovely Athens apartment with views of the Acropolis and unexpected evening views of the Parthenon Frieze inside the New Acropolis Museum. We walked around the base of the Acropolis in the early evenings, followed Georgia’s recommendations for neighborhood bakeries, stores and restaurants, and could head off in a different walkable direction every day as we explored the city. Georgia and Marios arranged our transport to the airport with Yanni. He was punctual and we enjoyed talking with him on the way to the airport. I would highly recommend Yanni for your transport needs, as well as this Athens apartment which is well furnished, very clean, and equipped with everything you might need. You will very shortly feel like a local going about your business in a neighborhood that seems very non-touristy even though it is located very close to the top tourist attraction in Athens.

The perfect centralized place to stay! So close to the Acropolis and all of the major attractions of Athens! Grocery store very near by for all essentials. Hip and bustling streets one block over for fantastic restaurants. Nice and quiet for resting with perfect view of the Acropolis from the balcony! We would definitely stay again!

Buvket list week in Athens

The perfect location with jaw-dropping views of the magnificent Acropolis Museum. It's a super secure, light-filled apartment with thoughtful amenities and lots of comfort. The bed gave me the best sleep I'd had in months, there was enough room for three people to do a yoga class and we have a great washing machine and clothes drying services! The location was so wonderful near lots of great restaurants, very groovy bakeries and cafes away from the main tourist strip and downstairs is the best grocer and wholefoods store. The highlight is the incredible luxury of being so close to the Acropolis to do the early-morning tour before the hoards, being able to pop to the museum for an hour or enjoy the amazing old Hamam two streets away, plus you can't get lost as you just have to look for the museum and you will find your way home. The subway is very close and the hosts were wonderful at sharing good airport transfers, tours and restaurants. It was a joy to have a taste of a 'real' Athenian home. Thank you so much Marios and Georgia, you made our bucket list dream come true.

A perfect place

This place was perfect in so many ways. The apartment was everything we needed and more. Sitting on the balcony at night and seeing the view was amazing. It is also across the road from the museum that also has great meals where you can eat with an access pass to the restaurant. Its next door to a great little shop that sells pastries, fruit and ice cream. The hosts were great and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. You won't regret staying at this amazing location during your time in Athens.

The apartment location is the best you can get. The balcony is wonderful and the view of the Acropolis are extraordinary. The interior of the apartment is very beautiful, and we were able to make meals easily. Little grocery stores all very close by. We went to the coffee shop everyday for our water bottles and espresso in the morning and our dessert at night. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great, after you get used to the water heater it is a nice shower with a rainhead or handheld. We spent six nights and really enjoyed out time in Athens. Washing machine was great, hung clothes on rack on back terrace, good sun and breeze. You will be impressed by this beautifully decorated and maintained home!

Just amazing

The apartment is in a perfect location, everything was walkable even for a 12 year old often grumpy child! The apartment has everything you would need and as it’s opposite the Acropolis museum you never get lost. Amazing view from the balcony and even better from the bathroom! Georgia explained everything and was so helpful letting us check out late. WiFi was great too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment, location and hosts

We have been to Athens many times and have stayed at different apartments in and around the city. This was by far the best apartment and experience we've had. The apt was even better than the description/photos. As others have mentioned, the view from the balcony was amazing. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was ideal and surprisingly quiet given that it was across the street from the Acropolis Museum. We were able to walk to all the local sights, restaurants and shopping areas in Athens, including the best bakery in Athens, which was located just around the corner. We visit Athens often and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Georgia and Marios!
