We had such a unique experience at our rustic cabin. We were greeted by a horse, dogs, chickens, and more! Michelle, the owner went out of her way to make sure that all of our needs were met. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get in touch with nature but does not want to go tent camping.

Nice place
It was a small, quiet, clean cabin. It was better than I saw in the picture. There were horses, chickens, and rabbits, so we could had more fun time. We made good memories with our family.

Great stay. The cabin was even nicer than the photos, Amish-made with 2 sets of twin-over-full bunk beds. The farm animals, campfire ring, and other kids (owner's grandkids who were visiting) were highlights for my children. We booked this as an upgraded alternative to camping, and are glad we did. My dog was too timid to socialize with the resident dogs (due to her own disposition, not theirs), but the owner was very receptive to coordinating with me to make that all work smoothly. If you don't mind using the shower house and porta-john, and frequent animal encounters (lots of dogs! among other things), then absolutely expect a lovely and memorable stay.

Great weekend with my daughter and granddaughter!
Had a great weekend with my daughter and her oldest daughter. Original plan was to go camping, but decided to play it safe and get a Cabin. We were glad we did – nice cabin that looked rustic but was clean and well kept and appointed. The best part were the grounds along with the animals that my granddaughter loved. Evenings were spent at the fire pit with lots of firewood, drinks and laughter with some of the other guest that we invited down from their cabin. Michelle and her husband were great host and a wealth of information about things to see and where to eat in the area. We were there to hike the Hocking Hills, which is a magnificent place - - you can’t believe you’re still in Ohio. My granddaughter loved Michelle as she took her around to see the animals – horses, chickens, dogs and puppies etc. on their homestead, that you’re welcome to visit with if you choose. We’re already making plans to go again in the fall.

Close to OU but secluded setting!
This property is close to OU but secluded and quiet! Right up the street from Gigi’s country kitchen, which is one of our favorite breakfast spots. If you don’t mind having to use a port-o-potty and a shower house - which we don’t! - you just can’t beat this property! Quaint, clean cabin in beautiful setting! Bob and Michelle were perfect hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

The owners were amazing and so nice. The cabin was extremely clean and well decorated. The animals were fun to hang out with next to the camp fire. Could have been better
I debated leaving a review after this stay. The owners seem to be very nice people, but our trip left a lot to be desired. Our first night there our dog was bitten by one of their dogs, and the next morning two people in our party were attacked by a rooster. The rest of the trip was uneventful and peaceful, but I felt as though we should have been offered some form of compensation for the injuries caused by the owners animals. A refund of a couple nights would have been nice. As it was we were only offered apologies and the offending rooster was penned the rest of our stay. The cabin is in a peaceful location with another cabin and an RV right next to it that are also rented out. The owner’s home is also right there. The facilities were kept clean and were very accommodating. There is even a game room of sorts if you’re looking for something to entertain.

I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. We literally bent over backwards for your family. The dog was bitten because of your total disregard for the leash rule we have. You were also warned of the rooster upon arrival and because of your fear I did lock him up immediately. You and your family took total advantage of our generosity with having multiple people staying and even sleeping in other cabins you did not pay for. Would I rent to you again, no.

My kids loved it
The owners were amazing. Plumbing is about 15 yards away but the cabin was great . Horses and chickens near. 9!of the friendliest dogs. Perfect for a small family. Direct tv and a game room nearby in pool barn. Will definitely go back. My kids were sooooo happy. Dad points for me.

Great Getaway
Great place to go and unwind after a long year of being on the front lines of COVID. The owners Michelle and Bob are very communicative and provided excellent directions and hospitality. The property is full of friendly animals and hiking trails for miles. My dog fit right in with the family of animals already there. Bring apples and carrots to feed the horses and give their Beagle Bailey a big hug. Can't say enough about the wonderful the week was. Highly Recommend! Thank you MIchelle

Beautiful Getaway
The owners are super friendly, and the cabin was clean as well as cute and cozy. The surrounding trees and vegetation are gorgeous and I love that I was able to take the dog. It was literally her first time getting to run free. The owners also have dogs that are all so friendly and fun to play with. The ONLY problem we had was with an attacking rooster. We eventually learned the trick was to call for the owners dogs to surround you, whenever we stepped outside the cabin. The dogs chased off the rooster. Looking back, that was comical, but it worked. We certainly had a ball there, other than that issue. My family's favorite thing though was roasting hotdogs and marshmallows around the fire pit, and just chatting with the owners. The cabin was about a 25 minute ride to do zip lining, and not far from a Hocking Hills train ride, which were both fun activities for my kids. Overall, this was such an awesome vacation, filled with memories we'll always treasure.

Fun and Relaxing
Michelle and her husband were very welcoming and fun to spend time with. They were always willing to help. If you like animals too this is a great spot to wake up to a rooster, pet friendly dogs and see some horses. I look forward to renting with them again!

Great Place
Very nice little cabins, very clean, and extremely nice owners. Just far enough out but also close to store and food in town. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend with my family. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Hard place to find. Entrance to property is marked with "keep out" and " no trespassing" signs. Property is littered with all kinds of trash. Dogs crying in cages....Beautiful setting, but needs a lot of work.

We are sorry you were unhappy with your stay. I believe we were more than accommodating to your family and your dog that was not kept on a leash as per property rules. Other than you, your family appeared to have genuinely enjoyed themselves. And the horses thank you for the carrots and apples!
