'We came back to this property as we found it such a lovely place to stay. The owner is very welcoming, the property is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. 'We booked an economy room, which was reflected in a very basic room at 1st floor. However the room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. General kitchen area could use an upgrade and thorough cleaning (cooking plate was hardly functioning, lot of flies, bad smell). Nice creeks at short driving distance.'
