'Upon arrival I was told they had wrongly given away my room to another guest. Not a good start. Worse, they offered to correct it by asking the wrongful inhabitants to leave. That would not have been a good scene. Instead they showed me two less-desirable rooms. We had to settle. No apologies, no offer to compensate me for their mistake and the displacement, no outreach from the management to discuss. 'Wauw, wat een leuke plek. We voelden ons meteen thuis toen we binnen kwamen. Alles ziet er zo gezellig uit. De kamer was super en het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk. Je kan koffie en thee pakken als je zin hebt en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Newport is ook heel gezellig. Echt een aanrader om hier naar toe te gaan.'

'We had a great 3 night stay at the Wyndham. We attended a gala while we were there, as well. Staff were all very friendly, and it was obvious the housekeeping staff was going above and beyond in cleaning. We actually mentioned it as we were walking down the hall because they were scrubbing floors in the rooms and everything smelled so fresh and clean. They made sure we had plenty of bottled water and coffee and towels. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly, interactive, and attentive....
