'Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! 'Loved this place and it had everything you needed and was very clean. Large balcony with great views of the mountains. It was close to everything so you could walk. 'We considered spending more on a bigger place but were encouraged by the reviews. We were two couples and it was plenty of space for us. Beds were comfy and the AC as cold as we needed it, a must for the hot nights. Parking convenient. Apartment clean. Pretty quiet at night aside from a few cars revving their engines. Would definitely recommend if you're planning to be out and about during your stay. '
