Custom Log Lake House op Wynne Lake met Pontoon Boat

Ga met uw gezin naar het noorden naar de schilderachtige bossen van Minnesota en geniet van 'Iron Ridge', ons privéblokhuis, strand en aanlegplaats aan de rustige oevers van Wynne Lake. Makkelijk te vinden en het handigst van de vakantiewoningen, we zijn aan dezelfde kant van het meer en slechts een mijl op de weg van Giants Ridge Ski Resort en de bekende Quarry en Legends golfbanen. 'Iron Ridge' is een op maat gemaakt huis gebouwd met massieve rode dennenblokken en gelegen op een ruim beboste kavel met prive oever van het meer en dock. Een grote beveiligde garage en uitgebreide verharde oprit bieden voldoende veilige off-road parking voor alle soorten voertuigen, aanhangwagens of campers.

Het hoofdniveau beschikt over een goed uitgeruste keuken met alles wat u nodig heeft (vaatwasser, magnetron, crock-pot, mixer, enz.). Het eetgedeelte (met grote tafel en het middelste eiland), woonkamer met open haard in veldsteen) en het omwikkelde overdekte terras bieden allemaal een prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Beide slaapkamers op het hoogste niveau beschikken over comfortabele kingsize bedden en de grote badkamer heeft een douche en een bubbelbad. De bank in de woonkamer trekt naar een koningin slaper.

Het lagere niveau is de perfecte plek voor entertainment en familieplezier. Het beschikt over een natte bar / keuken met gootsteen, koelkast, groot aanrecht / bar met krukken en 2 pubtafels. Vanaf hier loopt u naar de patio die uitkijkt op slechts een steenworp afstand van het meer. De patio markeert een groot bubbelbad buiten, terrasmeubilair om te dineren, zonnen of loungen, gasgrill en schommelbank met veranda. Stap terug naar binnen en net door de gang vindt u een complete badkamer compleet met een douche, kleedkamer en ceder sauna. Ook in deze gang is een bijkeuken met wasmachine, droger en strijkijzer.

Beide slaapkamers beneden zijn uitgerust met stapelbedden: een met 2 aparte bedden (volledig over vol stapelbed), en een met 4 aparte bedden (2 aparte bedden boven twee stapelbedden). De familiekamer op het lagere niveau is geweldig om te ontspannen. Samen met een tweede open haard heeft deze kamer een grote tv, compleet met satelliet- / tv, XBox 360 en een dvd / videorecorder. Je vindt er ook boeken voor alle leeftijden, bordspellen, XBox-games en een uitgebreide dvd-collectie. De Queen slaapbank en futon bieden extra slaapplaatsen.

Giants Ridge Ski Trip

This house was perfect for our 2 day ski trip to Gaints Ridge. The house was clean and has a well stocked kitchen, everything that we needed for our stay. The layout of the house allows space for people to hang out both upstairs and downstairs. Everything went well. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.

The location was great and the hosts were excellent. Close to Giants Ridge and the hosts responded quickly to a few back and forth emails. The cabin was easy to check into and opening and closing instructions were clear. They do a nice job of getting you informed about fun things to do in the area. I had 2 issues with my stay. First, the hot tub was closed for the winter, but it did not mention that in the listing. We had all packed swimsuits in anticipation of a nice hot tub after skiing, only to find out it was closed for the winter. Wouldn’t have been a deal breaker, just would have been nice to know in advance. The biggest issue for me was the cleanliness of the property. It did not appear to have been deep cleaned in between rentals. The sheets and beds were very clean, but the cabinets and carpets had to be wiped down and vacuumed before we felt more comfortable. There was debris visible under the couch, hair in the bathroom, crumbs on the floor and so much dust throughout. It put a damper on an otherwise great property,

friends get-a-way

We stayed at Iron Ridge for 2 nights in January. There were 4 couples and the home accommodated us well. One couple did need to sleep on single bunk beds. There were large spaces with comfortable seating and a large table to hang out. The property and access to the lake was wonderful. We walked on the lake to Giants ridge to watch a ski race. It's proximity to the ski area is perfect. Thanks for a fun weekend stay!

Winter in Northern Minnesota

This is a great location for skiing at Giants Ridge. The beds were comfortable. The house could use a little TLC. It is a few years old. Those that stayed downstairs said there was a bad smell from the laundry room. Here is my one beef with many houses that say they sleep 10 - there are not chairs to seat 10 around a table. If you are sleeping 10 you are probably eating with 10, All in all, this is a great house. The owner was quick to fix a major problem.

Wet family vacation

We were very happy with the property. Owner was easy to reach and follow up with cleaner helped with items left behind. We were a group of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids 3-6). Never felt cramped inside even when rain limited outside activities. Pontoon boat was nice for family-slow and steady. Hot tub was great. In-house tub only had luke warm water so not great. Site is more set up for adults. We had youth life jackets and games-site did not have much for youth.

Place was very nice and comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the heating system, as we tend to like it a bit cooler. Beautiful location and very convenient getting to Giant's Ridge ski area and into Biwabik.

The drive and location was beautiful! We came to the area for a wedding, the property is in an excellent location for what ever season or event. Per other reviews the home itself could use a few updates. However taking into consideration of the location, the amazing wrap around deck and access to lake. I didn’t take time to notice whether the home really needed updates. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to utilize the hot tub or sauna.

Family Vacation 2023

The water pressure in the showers could use a little work, Wi-Fi was useless, the pontoon worked but was very slow. Please update your pictures. We enjoyed the time away but it wasn't quite what we expected.
