Butler Cabin in The Homestead B & B

Welkom bij de historische Homestead in de Dripping Springs. Dit huis is een van de drie beschikbare verblijven, elk van de drie woningen is uniek voor hun tijdsperiode, stijl en omgeving. Clara's House en Willie Mae's Cottage maken allemaal deel uit van de Homestead bij de Dripping Springs en kunnen tegelijkertijd worden gereserveerd voor 8 personen. Het pand bevat de originele druipende bronnen waarnaar de stad is vernoemd. The Homestead is centraal gelegen in het historische district Mercer Street in Dripping Springs, dicht bij winkels, trouwlocaties, wijnroutes, parken en prachtige landelijke wegen.

Kom terug naar een eenvoudiger tijd in The Butler Cabin. Ontspan op de veranda met uw koffie of in de schaduw van de gigantische eiken omheinde kraal waar een schommel, tafel en stoelen en wasmachine pitching u herinneren aan voorbije dagen. De cabine heeft een antiek houten bed met hoge rugleuning, schommelstoelen, een kleine kitchenette, een opstaande douche en een antieke kledingkast die de tijdsperiode weerspiegelt.

Inclusief gratis continentaal ontbijt, airconditioning, flatscreen tv, WiFi, queensize bed, haardroger en een snackmand.

Butler Cabin at The Homestead B&B was a delightful step back in time. From the antique furniture to the creaky wood floors, from the history and restoration of the cabin to the surrounding history of the area, staying here was a treat! The homemade breakfast breads were a great personal touch as well!

Our second stay at the Butler cabin, just perfect for us. The location is right where we want to be, the cabin is well appointed, no detail left out, stocked with provisions and Sherry makes the best breakfast breads! Would always recommend this property.

This is a little hidden treasure in downtown Dripping Springs historical district. It is next to the actual spring. It has every thing one would need to be comfortable. My husband enjoyed having his morning coffee on the front porch in a rocking chair. I plan to stay there again on my next trip!

This is a very comfortable cabin with a short walk to the historic district and many shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. The cabin is clean and well stocked with lots of snacks. If you're driving a dully it is best to back into the cabin parking. The gate coming into the driveway is very narrow, and more difficult to back out of them into.

Great location. There are other houses to rent on the same property so it would be great area for large families. Everything easy to walk to. Love the history of the cabin.

The cabin was perfect. The snacks were excellent. The only suggestion we would make is maybe a new mattress. I have terrible arthritis and the bed made my back hurt. Very uncomfortable. We loved the location and will definitely stay again in one of the other houses.

Had a wonderful weekend stay in this quaint little cabin! My husband and I happened to stay on the weekend that Dripping Springs held a Christmas event in their downtown area. The streets were closed off, but we couldn’t have been closer to walk down to the shops and restaurants to enjoy the festivities. The weather could not have been worse that weekend, rainy and cold, but we were warm and comfy in the cabin. It was not drafty at all! Also, just have to add, all the reviews about the homemade bread did not disappoint! The loaves were delicious and much appreciated! Fun place to stay!

I was traveling solo to Dripping Springs for work. This cabin is right on the main strip downtown. Lots of food and drink spots within waling distance. I will definitely stay here again when I head back to Texas. The hosts were great.

The historic Butler Cabin and its sister cabins are situated perfectly, directly across from the Dripping Springs Visitors Center and Historical Society at the end of a very neat neighborhood on South Mercer Street. The best thing about our cabin, however, was that the Dripping Springs for which the town is named are located behind it in a secluded, wooded area. Despite the summer heat, my wife and I would spend hours just meditating by the springs and taking in nature. Between that and the special amenities provided by the property owners (fresh-baked bread waiting on our arrival), we couldn't have asked for a better stay! The owners were also very communicative and helpful, assisting us in getting rid of a hornets nest and when we got locked out of the cabin (totally my fault). Our stay here was actually the best part of our Austin trip, and we look forward to returning to our little nature getaway.

The cabin was clean, convenient, and comfortable with a great history. I really enjoyed the breakfast bread and other breakfast items provided. It’s located on a busy street, but still pretty quiet. I would stay there again when in Dripping Springs!

Stayed four days/three nights. Location of cabin on Main Street-walking distance to shops/bars. Cabin had one large room w/bed and sitting area to eat. Kitchen was fully functional -didn’t have an oven but microwave. Owners baked homemade bread (2loaves) for us when we arrived. Dropped off more bread on our third day. Full size bathroom- had soaps/shampoo if needed. Perfect for a couple or individual.
