Charmant klein huis in de oude binnenstad

BESITOS HUIS. We hebben het Besitos genoemd, wat 'kleine kusjes' betekent vanwege de manier waarop dit charmante huis uit circa 1930 gasten verwelkomt en troost. Gelegen in de historische wijk Georgetown en in de buurt van Southwestern University. Dit kleine huisje ligt dicht bij het centrumplein met veel winkels en restaurants. Het Palace-theater is een gemeenschapstheater vlak bij het plein. Parken langs de San Gabriel niet ver van het centrum. Een slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed, terwijl de tweede slaapkamer een koningin en een tweeling heeft. De Morning Room heeft een love-seat die uitschuifbaar is tot een groot bed. TV's bevinden zich zowel in de slaapkamers als in de woonkamer. Volledige keuken klaar om te koken. Ontspan op de schommelbank op de veranda of trek u terug voor een glas wijn en een goede sigaar.

Adorable cottage

Super cute house

My husband and I stayed at this property for a few days to visiting family! We will absolutely make this our go to home to stay at whenever we are in Georgetown! The backyard is huge with a nice long driveway. The house is so cute and comfortable. Nice bug dinning room tabke to fit all of us at for family dinner.

Cute place, caution in crapper and lawn.

The property was cute and well located.We were surprised to get a 50 charge for the toilet paper holder, which was wobbly when on arrival and fell out after a day. We are 4 cautious 80's folks who have stayed in many VRBO's for over a decade and have never had a nuisance charge like this.We were also told we may be hit with a charge for damage to the sprinkler system for parking on the lawn the first night - on arrival in the dark it was not clear to us where to park. There was no sign to stay off the grass and no notice on check in to stay on gravel road (driveway) to avoid sprinkler. In the day it was clear that there was no other property using the driveway but not at night.

GTX Sweet Spot!

This a very clean, comfortable, cozy rental. The location is close in town and easy access to all of Georgetown. The Unit was exactly as described, very nicely stocked, very nicely decorated, comfortable beds & an “At home” feel.

Clean, recent renovated and comfortable home.

The home is renovated and is great. It was clean and the checkin process was very easy. The host was laidback and kinda let us be. The home comes well stacked for a few days with lots of linens. It felt comfortable to be at the house with no worries. One think I would have liked, for the property to have a front gate or fence. The house is wide open from the street. No issues with noise. We will stay there again.

Sisters visit to Georgetown

Great home with all the little touches. Is easily walking distance to all the fun of the square in Georgetown( about 15 minutes walking). The home is exactly as in the photos. It is decorated nicely. I would highly recommend!

Cute cottage, great location

The cottage is the perfect size for a couple or small family. It is super cute and very comfortable. We stayed 49 days and we found the bed to be very comfortable. We had plenty of cleaning products, laundry products, etc. The AC kept the house cool throughout the hot summer days. It was on and set to the perfect temp when we arrived. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the location. We walked most days into the downtown area and had lunch. We also enjoyed walks around the well established beautiful neighborhood. Jan was.a.great host and communicated well.Loved our stay, thank you, Jan!

Home away from home

This is our 2nd stay- perfect location for Southwestern families (walk 1 block from campus) or downtown Georgetown events. You can easily walk downtown (better than driving around looking for a parking spot) or ride your bike to San Gabe park and catch the trails. The home is clean, quiet and spacious for a family.
