Point Venture Lookout is een smetteloos thuis weg van huis in centraal Texas. Breng het hele gezin - en uw hond - mee om te genieten van de comfortabele leefruimtes, het uitzicht op Hill Country vanaf het gemeubileerde terras en barbecueën op de gasgrill. Breng de dag door op het meer, keer terug om uw pingpongvaardigheden te testen en rond de dag af met een familiefilmavond op de flatscreen-tv.

Het dorp Point Venture ligt net buiten de stad Lago Vista met winkels, restaurants en entertainment. U kunt vanuit het Dink Pearson Park op een kajak of stand-up paddleboard gaan of vissen vanaf de kust in een van de vele recreatiegebieden aan het water. Point Venture Golf Club ligt op slechts een paar honderd meter afstand voor een ontspannen rondje golf.

Nice place.

We had a wonderful time. One thing we found was some broken wood on the steps and beside the Fireplace. The wood was there but either loose, broken or both. These little things kept it from being a 5.

Cute house, great location

This is a really cute house that’s near the lake and a community pool. Great for a peaceful getaway. Has a back deck with a bbq grill. However the a/c didn’t cool properly and we didn’t receive follow up communication re a resolution. It was disappointing that the golf cart in the garage is not included in the amenities because although the community pool and marina is nearby, it is not walking distance. This location is great. You get to see deer walking around.

Great Lake house

The property was clean and it was able to accommodate the 9 of us easily. The stairs were pretty steep though, the owners/property management were responsive, it would have been better to have some of our questions answered beforehand. I would come back again

Lovely home, great location.

Cozy home with great porches, comfortable living room and great kitchen easy access to water, great dock with restaurant, boat rentals or a park with a sand bar. There was a pool, golf and frisbee golf too. We would definitely go back !

Lovely home with open concept

The home was clean and had every amenity you would ever need. The huge windows in the living room were amazing, like bringing the outdoors in. When on the deck, you can hear the water from what was once a storm drain, trickling down into a little creek. It's quite relaxing. Deer all throughout the neighborhood and even in the yard were nice little surprises. The park in the neighborhood that we were able to access is enormous and beautiful. I don't think we even got to see the entire park in one day. Lits of bonuses with the home that we didn't even take advantage of, due to we were going just for relaxation. This was a wonderful home.

The scenery was bad and the porch was not as pictured. The lake view was distant .

I need to do better research on my part in the future. This location is in a nice neighborhood, but everything is far away and traffic is always flowing. I would think that for the fees that are being charged a commercial grade tissue one not be the first choice. Kleenex in the bathroom would not be too much to ask as well. We had to cut our trip short so we didn't spend much time in the area. The best part was all the deer in the neighborhood, but I know we wouldn't select that home again, although it's nice it's just not secluded enough for our liking..

The property is in pretty good shape. Cannot think of anything justifying a negative statement other than Check-In is too late in the day and Check-Out is too early in the morning. Unfortunatelyy, for us, it was too cold and too windy for us to have the best trip possible.

Great Location! Needs Deep Cleaning

The scenery was beautiful and serene however the cleaning crew needs to be fired. There was trash left from the previous renters. Food stains dripping g down the lower cabinets, lights burned out in the main areas, master bedroom and bath. Hair on the sheets. The carpet in the master bath was crunchy. The outside deck furniture was soiled with bird poop and there were cob webs all over the house. The house was just dark and dull. Definitely not worth the money I spent.

Nice House, but details need to be taken care off

The house is very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. There is a restaurant in the lake near by ( you can walk) and you can see deers every where. The people cleaning the house is not doing a very good job, when we look at the dishes we realized that a few plates were put up but were not clean 100%. Then we went to clean the dishes and realized that there was not dishwasher soap. I texted the property manager and within 1 hour we got dish washer. Then I realized that the couch which is súper confortable had stains all over. The garbage and the bbq pit were not working either, I notified the manager about these issues as well, but never heard back. If all these issues are taken care of then it will be super nice.

Beautiful Home, Rather Filthy Inside

Such a gorgeous home. Upon our arrival around 5:20 pm (an hour after check in is allowed) we arrived to the front door open & a woman walks out with a mop & asked “can I help you?” I informed her that we were checking in, she then says: “oh is it 4pm already?” I informed her of the time. She asked us to ride around for about 10mins & come back, so we did. Once we returned & were inside, we noticed the cleaning lady & her two daughters were parked across the street outside of their vehicles watching us unload. We should have known then, that something was terribly wrong. Once upstairs we immediately noticed how filthy the house was, I asked my husband to inform the cleaners to come back so that we could address it. 1. The couches & beds were FULL of dog hair, it was rather disgusting, we were shocked! The woman came in the master bedroom & I showed her hair everywhere, she said: “oh I don’t think she washed the sheets.” She removed the comforter only & came back with another one & made the bed & vacuumed the floor. After she left we pulled the comforter back & realized the sheets were filthy as well, we were mortified! 2. There was human hair in the kitchen refrigerator & also in the master shower, we took photos of everything. One of the hang towels even had stains on it. There was so much dog hair on the living room couch & pillows that we realized we could not get rid of it all & just ended up flipping the pillows on their opposite sides. 3. The cleaning ladies used dirty towels to wipe down surfaces because the dog hair was left on the stove tops as well, (again we have photos). 4. Upon arrival, the woman & her daughters were NOT wearing face mask & did not have mask with them. Texas is currently being hit hard with a 2nd wave of Covid-19 & these ladies were in the home, half cleaning it without mask. Thankfully we brought Lysol, sanitizer, & Lysol wipes & sanitized the place as best as we could, but we were up until 11pm re-washing all of the bed sheets & towels & disinfecting the place. If it weren’t a four hour drive, we would have just canceled the entire stay. We tried contacting the property manager the 1st night with no success. If you’re okay with dog hair & having to do your own cleaning & sanitizing this place, go ahead and book it. Otherwise, it’s a really beautiful home inside, great view on the balcony & the kitchen is stocked impressively. In the end, we were refunded for the cleaning fee only.

Great Place for a Get-a-Way Trip

Whether from Texas or out of the state, this is the perfect place to rent for a nice get-a-way trip. Stocked with the essentials such as kitchen tools, gas grill, and toiletries plus, tons of games and even a ping pong table. You have a access card to enjoy the community’s park, swimming pool, and gym. Location is walking distance from the pool and golf course. Enjoy live bands, adult beverages, and a food truck treat at Caddy Shack, located at the golf proshop. We will be back!

1. Dog hair all over the couch. Ping pong table location was impossible to play a game on. 2. Every point resulted in a lost ball. 3. Location of the property wasn't close to anything. Took us an hour to get to any decent restaurant. However, the water craft rental and golf courses were close by so I guess it's all about what you want to do to make this a relative comment. I will say, paying exorbitant cleaning fees and having a couch full of dog hair was a bit disheartening and quite honestly a rip off. Not quite worth the price tag.

Wonderful house with GREAT Property Manager

This house was all we wanted/needed it to be and more! Very nice interior and layout. What makes this property so amazing though is the property manger. She is one of the best we have worked with. She proactively addressed a minor concern we had prior to our arrival without prompting from us and genuinely cared about us as guests. We were staying in the house for our wedding weekend, as we were getting married in the neighborhood. She only found this out the evening before our arrival and yet we were still greeted with a lovely Congratulations gift and bottle of champagne. It was so very thoughtful! The only suggestion we would have is to provide some instructions on how to operate the thermostat (they may have been there and we missed it...it was a hectic weekend!), as we are not very tech savvy. No complaints...wonderful property and a wonderful property manager!
