Our stay at this property started out rough, as once i booked the place, I called the number provided on Hotels.com for the property, i talked to a man named Shawn, he said once im about 20 mins from the property to call him so he can meet me their. I told him I would be there around 8 or 9 pm. The instructions online said the front desk is open till 10pm. As i called a few times at 830 pm, i was only getting voice mails, once i pulled up to the property at 9pm, i continued to call Shawns phone, but no luck. I tried to open the front door but you need a code to get in. I finally called Hotels.com to state the issues. They had no luck with the phone also. I decided to walk around to the door in the carport, i found the door unlocked, so i went inside while on the phone with hotel.com. hotel.com told me to go to the front desk. As i walked thru the house, i found a desk in the living room. No one at the desk, but i found another couple whoe was also staying in the house, they had no idea where the owner was at. Around 10pm. I went back outside to find a maintenance worker named Eddie, he knew Shawn and said he could help me, he showed me my room in the house, he gave me the code to the front door and also to my bedroom.
Now the good stuff, Eva is the home owner, she was at the house the next morning to apologize for the issue the night before, she made an awesome breakfast at 9am. Shawn showed up at 10am, he also said he fell asleep and didnt hear my phone call.
