Dit is gemakkelijk de beste locatie om je Austin-avontuur te beginnen! U kunt gemakkelijk naar Barton Springs Pool lopen (5 minuten lopen) en Zilker Park voor alle geweldige festivals zoals ACL, Blues on the Green, het vliegerfestival, of gewoon lekker hangen en ontspannen met de skyline van Austin als achtergrond. Het is ook super dicht bij Downtown, Uchi, het Long Centre, Auditorium Shores (4 juli vuurwerk), Lady Bird Lake, Mighty Cone, Shady Grove, originele Chuy's, Peter Pan Mini Golf en nog veel meer!

## Ruimte

Dit huis met 2 slaapkamers heeft een absoluut perfecte locatie! Het ligt direct naast het Zilker Park en het centrum, wat betekent dat je overal heel dicht bij bent. Het is onlangs opnieuw ingericht. Het appartement is geschikt voor 8 personen comfortabel met 2 in het kingsize bed, 1 in het bed met 2 aparte bedden, 1 in de twin-onderschuifbed, 2 in de queensize bed en 2 op de comfortabele slaapbank.

Keuken - Volledig gevuld met kookgerei (3 potten, een koekenpan en een ovenschaal), borden, magnetron, vaatwasser, koffiezetapparaat en keukengerei.

Buitenruimte - Grote tuin die zich om het hele huis wikkelt. Geweldig om buiten te ontspannen en perfect voor huisdieren. Houd er rekening mee dat het hek niet volledig is ingesloten, dus een huisdier zonder toezicht kan mogelijk afdwalen. Er is een extra schoonmaaktoeslag van USD 85 die vooraf moet worden betaald.

Bedden - 1 kingsize bed, 1 eenpersoonsbed met 2 aparte bedden, 1 queensize bed en 1 tweepersoons slaapbank, allemaal met comfortabele kussens en lakens met een hoge draaddichtheid.

Entertainment: grote HD-tv met kabel en snelle WiFi.

Wasserij: Er is een muntautomaat was / droogruimte die wordt gedeeld met het aangrenzende appartementencomplex. De wasruimte is gunstig gelegen aan de voet van de buitentrap die naar het huis leidt.

Naast het gehele appartement is er ook een wasserette in het gebouw en het verbazingwekkende Zilker Park en Barton Springs Pool op loopafstand.

PARKEREN - 1 gereserveerde parkeerplaats met parkeervergunning (vergunning vereist!). Zie alstublieft uw welkomstmail voor meer informatie. Extra auto's kunnen gratis langs de straat parkeren, met inachtneming van borden. Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor slepen.

## Buurt

De wijk Zilker herbergt vele bekende bezienswaardigheden in Austin, waaronder de beeldentuin van Umlauf, het historische Tex-Mex restaurant Matt's El Rancho en Barton Springs Pool, gelegen in het Zilker Park waar de Zilker Holiday Tree en Trail of Lights en de Austin City Limits Music Festival. Het is een korte rit naar het centrum, evenals een scala aan restaurants en coffeeshops in Zuid-Austin.

Stap eenvoudig op het wandel- en fietspad van de stad. Zeer dicht bij meerdere verhuurbedrijven van fietsen, kajaks en stand-up paddle boards. Omarm de sfeer van Zuid-Austin die deze stad tot een icoon in het hele land heeft gemaakt!

## Transit

Scooters (Lime & Bird) evenals Lyft en Uber zijn de beste manieren om rond Austin te komen, vooral zo dichtbij alles. Er zijn echter ook veel opties voor openbaar vervoer in dit gebied (zie de website van CapMetro).

2) Extra gasten (meer dan geboekt) zijn $ 40 / persoon / dag.
3) Als u niet op tijd uitcheckt (11.00 uur), wordt een extra nacht in rekening gebracht.
4) De schoonmaak die u betaalt is om het huis schoon te maken voorafgaand aan uw verblijf. Als u na uw vertrek niet voldoende ophaalt, kunnen er extra schoonmaakkosten in rekening worden gebracht - de prijs is afhankelijk van de tijd die nodig is om u op te ruimen. We verwachten niet dat je het huis schrobt, maar gewoon je afval ophaalt en alles neerzet waar je het hebt gevonden.

Loved the balcony but only access through master bedroom. Affordable. Tough stairs to climb to enter property. Adjacent to beautiful neighborhood and Barton Springs. Very comfortable.

What a disappointment! The photos in the listing were quite nice and it appeared to be comfortable, it is not. When we entered the house it was obvious no one had cared for this place in a very long time. The carpet was disgusting, stained, torn, and crunched underfoot. There were holes in the walls and in the drapes. Much of the furniture was in a state of disrepair, the living room chair had a broken leg ( not usable ), and the beds screeched with every move, making it difficult to sleep. The towels were tacky, something appeared to be growing around the vent in the bathroom and all the air vents had debris hanging from them. We tried to find another place to stay however with the big-ticket events happening that weekend we had no other option. Every time we walked into this place we felt gross and were filled with disappointment.

Overall the property and stay was great for a family on a budget, just what we were looking for. It’s within walking distance of Barton Springs and a very safe neighborhood. The view is great, but way more stairs than I anticipated to get to the house. Also parking is included which was a plus.

Excellent communication and very easy check in process. Everything we needed. Needs a little updating and based on location in the complex it tends to be a little dark, but worked out really well for our trip. Glad we found this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a problem with the upstairs toilet, but reported it, and it was resolved very quickly! We enjoyed the location as we found good food and parks and gardens very close by. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a good property to stay at. Great view from the upstairs patio and plenty of sleeping space. The proximity to Zilker Park and Barton springs pool is great. I would stay here again.

This location was fantastic. It's very close to Zilker Park and a cheap Uber/Lyft to the downtown area. The key pad lock made check in and out very convenient, and there was plenty of communication in advance of our arrival. The house itself left quite a bit to be desired. It has a very strong musty odor. I thought once the AC had been running for a few hours that it would clear up, but it was intense throughout the entire stay. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom. There is a portable AC unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and it had completely soaked the carpet through. I did alert management to this, and they advised to turn it off and they'd reach out to maintenance. I was never contacted again about it. The furniture is heavily stained, and most corners of floors, counters, and windows have dirt/dust buildup on them. The house needs a deep cleaning, a coat of paint, and some upgrades to the ventilation.

Property owners/managers have failed to send a receipt for my stay after several requests. VRBO says they cannot help because Austin Vacay uses their own system. Queen Bed in second bedroom was broken upon arrival, and uncomfortable to sleep in. Unit has a musty smell, and foul odor from kitchen sink Ants crawling around in bathroom Unit much darker than appears in pictures. Otherwise property clean. Walkable to Zilker park and Barton Springs pool.

I had a great stay here with my boys (ages 12 and 13 in the heart of Austin. The front door is up the long stairs shown in the oustide pic. Pack light. Both bedrooms are upstairs but the living area has a pull out couch downstairs and another sitting couch there in the same living space as the pullout couch. We had no issues. We used a code to unlock the door and had no real check in process so that was nice. The house was tidy and clean. Beds were comfy. The location was fantastic. We came in from North Texas and was easily able to avoid I-35 and Mopac (Loop 1) by taking The Capitol of Texas HWY to Barton Springs. I would recommend eating at Magnolia Cafe for breakfast or brunch (on south congress). And Maudies Tex Mex (on Lamar) had excellent cheese enchiladas with spicy ranchero sauce and great salsa and drinks. Chuys is another iconic tex-mex restaurant and is the closest, right on Barton Springs. The Barton Springs natural spring fed pool was still closed since covid but we walked down to it and were able to go down (a few minutes walk) on a trail where the pool spills over into Ladybird Lake. The kids swam there for free and enjoyed the trees and scenery. This where the locals (and many of their friendly dogs) go to play and chill out. The lake has a great trail for hiking or biking and bike rental is just right out in the front parking area of the house. I have no complaints with out stay and hope to visit again! I used to live in Austin so I know this truly the best location to stay! Thank you for a great stay and very fair price for this location. We had a great time!

The property was very spacious, private and has a wonderful view from the second story deck. The apartment was clean, comfortable, with nice bed linens. The management team is amazing, Elizabeth was so kind in accommodating us with a later check out as we needed to wait to speak with our brother's doctors at the hospital before heading out. Very gracious and compassionate, we are truly grateful! PS We all loved the artwork at the property! Thanks Much Jackie R.

You could not have a better location. Easy walk from house to town lake path system and the sculpture gardens. Beautiful views from master bedroom deck. Nice quiet neighborhood. One of my favorite parts of the house were the lovely soft sheets on the beds. House was well stocked with extra towels. We prepared a small( 5 person) Thanksgiving Dinner and kitchen was adequately equipped for that type of cooking. Check in was easy and they were quick to respond at onset when I could not find the email with key codes.
