Nice and comfortable, quiet neighbourhood

The house had almost all the things one could ask for, certainly enough room for three people and a dog. The fence around the house is open at the front, for people with a dog a closable gate would be nice. No wifi, but that isn't a problem, who needs to be on the internet all day on a vacation? Mobile phone networks do the job just fine. I read the stories about the shower, and indeed it takes some effort to get wet. The neighbourhood was very nice, quiet and close to nature (deer, rabbits etc. could be seen from the house in early hours). Walking to Aviemore centre could be done within 15 minutes via a pleasant walkway through the fields - no traffic (except maybe deer) -. Would certainly recommend this house, we had a pleasant stay.

Prima woning op loopafstand van aviemore

Fijne woning, met alles wat je nodig hebt, zelfs een wasmachine. Je zit in alle rust, maar op loopafstand van aviemore (15 min). Er is ook een route tussen de weilanden/schapen door erg mooi. Het enige wat ik een nadeel vond: een kamer met stapelbed en een losbed een kamer met een dubbel bed en een kamer met een enkelbed. We waren met 2 stellen en een kind. Dus één stel ligt dan in de kamer met het stapelbed en de ander in een dubbelbed. En de douche was vaak niet warm.

Great base for a cycling trip in the Highlands

We stayed for three nights while doing a cycling event in Inverness – three adults in total. The place was spotless, and the host gave really clear instructions which made everything easy. A big bonus was having access to the garage to safely store our bikes. The area is absolutely stunning, and we’re already planning to come back, this time with the family.

Weekend skiing trial

Three old buffers trying skiing for first time (or after a long break). House lovely and within short drive of slopes. A bit of a walk to the town centre ( especially when you have après-ski aches!) but that’s a very small gripe. Would stay here again

A lovely family holiday in this nice modern house. If I were to be picky then perhaps towels and an oven glove could be supplied and maybe worth enclosing the back garden for people with dogs. Everything else was spot on.

Celebrating a birthday at the house with the wettest October on record, flooding everywhere and roads closed but we still managed to get out for some walks. Only issue with house is no washing machine or drying area within house to hang extremely wet gear.

We were a group of Firefighters from West Yorkshire staying in Aviemore for a weeks Golf at nearby Boat of Garton.The house we stayed in was perfect for our group of 4 Adults. It was spotlessly clean and appeared to have been completely refurbished. Great location just 25 mi walk to the Town Center. would highly recommend.👏

Great property, not far to walk down a well lit path to centre of Aviemore. Lots of great walks with or without a dog. Very quite area, sonever disturbed with any traffic noise. Very clean inside and good quality furnishings, would not hesitate to recommend.

Everything was good we realised it was newly decorated and the standard was Ace Had problem with microwave and owner dealt with it the same day Loved the situation so handy for centre Enjoyed sitting out in garden in the mornings As the bath was new it was slippy and I’m sure a safety mat would solve that problem 😊 Had a wonderful holiday

Had the most fantastic stay in Aviemore, with clean, warm and comfortable stay in our accommodation. Great location, close to the town centre with all the required amenities and fantastic countryside to explore.
