Lovely Avignon!

We had a perfect stay in Avignon! Philippe and Gisela have a lovely apartment. They were very accommodating and also very responsive to any questions we had. While this apartment is outside of the city centre, it was still close enough to be able to walk to everything including the train station. I hope to go back some day!

Overall great rental a few minutes walk away from the Old City so great quality price ratio. Very quiet neighborhood with grocery store 5 minute walk. We traveled with 2 young children so the bath and high chair were a major plus. Big rooms, great outdoor space Philippe great host very easy to reach and accommodating.

Wonderful Roomy Apartment near Avignon

Lovely apartment a short walk from the walled city of Avignon. Beautifully furnished and plenty of space. A home away from home! Two clarifications (not criticisms) This is a two flight walk up. If you have heavy luggage keep that in mind. Very small garage which can accommodate a small car otherwise it is street parking.

Philippe met us just after we arrived, which was actually really lovely. He was able to walk us through the apartment and help get us settled. The apartment is lovely--we immediately felt at home. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels and you get the feeling that this is a home rather than a business. Our son enjoyed the space to spread out his toys and immediately found the corner of items provided to play with. The bed was comfortable and there was breathing room in the bathroom with hot water. (Something we were struggling to find on our trip.)Reasonable walking to city center. The neighborhood is "quiet" but that doesn't mean it isn't busy! Lots of traffic down the small street, but you can't hear it once inside. As others have mentioned, the garage is a tight fit. We opted to park on neighboring streets. This was by far our favorite place we stayed in France and the only spot we would come back to.

Wonderful apartment!

We really loved this apartment. The decor is wonderful, the space is large (good for a family), inviting and comfortable, the kitchen, bathroom, and amenities are modern, the beds comfortable, and the location perfect. We walked to the historic walled city of Avignon in less than 5 minutes and were at the Palais des Papes (which is extraordinary!) in 15. While there is street parking, we were grateful for the convenient one-car garage which made things that much easier. The apartment's location is central to many popular places in Provence: Pont du Gard, Arles, Gordes (and the Tuesday market!) St. Remy, Roussillon, and more. Being mid-trip, we happily used the washer & dryer which worked great. Phillippe was a very responsive host; and he provides lots of useful reference information/maps which helped us thoroughly enjoy the area even more. A wonderful apartment. Highly recommend!

Sehr angenehme Wohnung

Die Wohnung war pikobello sauber, das Einchecken völlig problemlos, die Klimaanlagen funktionierten bei 38° C Außentemperatur zum Glück einwandfrei und es war alles da, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht (Gewürze, Kaffeekapseln, Teebeutel, Zucker, Salz, Spülmaschinentabs etc.). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Spacious apartment, steps from old town

This apartment was spacious, secure and located close to the old town. Everything we needed for our three-night stay was there. Extremely clean and all the modern amenities. It is easy to see the owners take pride in this home. Communication was excellent and they were helpful to point out local destinations and restaurants. This served as a great place as we explored the Provence region. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment, great appliances and child friendly. No lift so two flights of stairs to go up. Parking in neighbouring streets but better to use the garage. Very clean. Responsive manager. Very close to walk into Avignon but not much super close (within two blocks) in terms of cafes, shops.

Our experience in Avignon was so great primarily because of our apartment. We were close to everything and able to experience many of the sites without a car. Our host was most welcoming and made our stay warm and inviting. Highly recommend this property.

We quite enjoyed this house. The location is about 15-20 mts walk from the city centre. We had a problem with the laundry but they addressed it well Cooking facilities are very good. There is a garage for your car which is nice particularly on days when you walk to the centre. Beds are comfortable although better suited to a family as opposed to couples.

Nice apartment, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Phillipe's apartment. It was spacious, well kept and comfortable. Just minutes from a store and bakery. Right outside the wall, for when you want to go into Avignon. But we were using Avignon as a jumping off point for a lot of day trips and didn't want the parking hassles inside the wall, so this was perfect. Phillipe was also very helpful with sightseeing information. We would highly recommend!!! One of our best vacations ever for sure!!!

Comfortable & enjoyable stay

We were a group of 4 and Philippe's place was more than enough space for all of us. I love the fact that we all got our own bed to sleep in. Although we did not spend much time at the apartment, it was well equipped with the essentials: clean towels, fresh linen, kitchenware, wi-fi, etc. The in-suite laundry was appreciated as well as the air conditioning. We were sad that we did not use the cute terrace. The apartment is just like in the photos, bright with natural sunlight streaming through the windows. It should be noted that you will have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the apartment (for those who may have mobility issues). The apartment is located approximately a 10 minutes walk to the walls of Avignon. We found the neighbourhood quiet & safe. We left our rental car parked on the street & had no issues. Unfortunately I never met Philippe; however, communicating with him was easy & he was prompt & cordial with his responses. Check-in was seamless as Philippe provided instructions beforehand. Apartment in Avignon

Just spent 6 days in Avignon and this apartment was lovely. A quick 2-3 block walk to the city wall and Rue des Teinturies with its great restaurants. The temperature the week were there was very arm, 38-39 C so the air conditioning was wonderful to have. Phillipe was very quick to respond to questions and met us at the apartment. He has many booklets with ideas and photos of local day trips.

Fantastic, Spacious and great location in the heart of Avignon

I stayed with 5 of my dear friends in this fantastic accommodation and wished we could have stayed longer! The unit is immaculately clean, well laid out, newly renovated and tastefully decorated with fully equipped kitchen fitted for gourmet cooking! And the place is spacious for us. The location is near all amenities, including bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants and a 10-15 minute walk to the historic walled city for sightseeing and many attractions. There was a balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast while soaking in the beautiful sunshine. The most important and unique aspect of our stay is the hospitality and kindness of the owner, Phillippe. We had made arrangements to be picked up from and to the TGV station on our arrivals and departures as well as for sight seeing tours in Provence and for many other side trips. Phillippe has designed a fantastic sight seeing day trip to fit our needs and drop us off to our next destination, then picked us up again for other side trips. He even offered to pick us up from the grocery store when we could not get a Taxi. How lucky can we be! He certainly went out of his way to assist us. Phillippe, on behalf of our group, I extend sincere thank you for all your kindness, flexibility and considerations to make our Provence Holiday an enjoyable and memorable one! You are always available when we need you, dependable and very honest. You are a great ambassador for Provence, a caring landlord, a friend and you treated us like one of your families. We would be delighted to recommend your Apartment and your touring and transportation services to our friends and families, and we hope to come back.
