'Modest accomodations, but with all amenities, like shower, balcony, AC and a fridge in addition. There was no TV but who needs that with the beach only an arms length away...Room was clean, atmosphere friendly and informal, manager very helpful. The manager even drove me to the bus station when I thought I'd miss the bus. I had one of the most relaxing vacations ever for the lowest price ever. And I fell in love with Greece.'

They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. 'Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue. '

'Pool was very cold, not nice and a bit dirty. No views (in city, street view with balcony on street). The wide angle views of the hotel's pictures give an inappropriate view. The setup for me was more like 3 stars. Nevertheless, the stay was fair. The area with beaches is great. But next time, I will not stay here but book a bed & breakfast with better views'

'Dit hotelletje lig in de bergen. Als je uit de kloof omhoog komt, kun je aan het einde van de Fygu kloof opgehaald worden. De volgende dag wordt je bij Samaria afgezet. Eten prima, slapen lekker fris.'

'Chambre propre. Air conditionné ne refroidit rien, on a crevé de chaud les 2 nuits sur place, on a rien dormi. La petite piscine au premier étage très froide, impossible de rentrer dedans. Il y a du progrès à faire de la part du propriétaire pour passer un séjour agréable.'

'Chose this spot as a place to stay overnight before visiting Elafonisi Beach. Nice suite for a little mountain getaway. Met some nice people and the host was very friendly. No amenities in the village so you need to drive about 5 minutes to get some food. Some good places to eat nearby. The only complaint would be some noisy neighbours who were up until 2am stomping around doing who knows what. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.'

'The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped lovely products in the bathroom, fresh towels and great breakfast. Maria and Nikos were the perfect Cretan host with all the warmth and kindness that only the Cretan’s can offer . We temporarily lost our car key they jumped to help us, collecting us from the salt lake pouring balm ( wine ) to soothe our troubles and then returning us to the salt lake and our vehicle , once we had realised we had stashed the key in a beach shoe thank you guys...

'L’hébergement sentait un produit type xylophene pour tuer les insectes présents dans le bois des charpentes par exemple et cela nous a donné mal à la tête nous avons ouvert toute la nuit portes et fenêtres en vain . Sinon l’endroit est exceptionnel Beaucoup de travail pour aménager ce lieu La route pour y accéder est très longue et finit par une piste de 3 km Une fois que vous êtes arrivés il y a un restaurant et comme vous êtes obligé de louer pour 2 nuits vous devez passer par leur restaurant...
