The Leanor Experience
Wóshdę́ę́ – “Come in” (Navajo)
Welcome to The Leanor, a historic 1906 mercantile reimagined as a boutique stay in downtown Aztec, NM. Once a horse stable, post office, bookstore, and bike shop, this landmark tells the story of the Four Corners while offering every modern comfort.
The private upstairs apartment is a hidden gem featuring four bedrooms with new memory foam mattresses, three tiled baths, a full kitchen, dining and living room with 65” TV, laundry, a balcony overlooking Main Avenue, and a backyard with pergola, fire pit, and covered patio.
Guests love the unbeatable location—steps from local shops, breweries, cafés, and Taco Time—and just minutes from world-class outdoor and cultural destinations. After a day of exploring, unwind downstairs at the Wines of the San Juan Tasting Room, where award-winning local wines flow in a truly historic setting.
Whether traveling for romance, family gatherings, weddings, or Four Corners adventures, The Leanor offers a seamless blend of history, comfort, and unforgettable memories.
