'Clean but very small room. Cheap, suitable for solo traveller. Hotel quite big largely catering for coach parties with big dining room and evening entertainment. Position close to weĺl maintained lawns at top of cliffs. Very safe, railings and benches. Magnificent views.'

'Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay '

'Charming place, we hadn’t realised how good the sea views were/are. Nicely located being a short walk from Babbington centre with the rest of the English Riviera easily accessible. Heating and hot water both fine, spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen (even washing up without a dishwasher didn’t seem like a chore with those views!). We had an issue with the WiFi which the owner worked to resolve, sadly without success. But Sunny Bank is a great spot in a great location - recommended'

'Location for the centre of Dartmouth is good. Breakfasts were very good. Staff were very friendly. Rooms (we ended up staying in two different rooms) were cramped, stuffy, and smelly. Aside from the kitchen odours, which you couldn't avoid from morning until the kitchen closed in the evening, the rooms were musty smelling. Although they did not do a breakfast or have a dining room, they made up a wonderful breakfast hamper, delivered to your room at your convenience, which including a bacon or sausage bap, amongst many other items.
