'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'Excellent hotel! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Joel! Location is awesome!! Close to everything, but quiet and calm surroundings. The only downfall was a train passes a couple times a night, and It sounds like it’s in the room…they provide earplugs, but I didn’t use them.'

'Near Frenchman street and French quarter, clean and nice, w private entrance- a couple of random people came and knocked on the door in the evening but they were just some guy who obviously expected someone else to be there and a guy wanting to use the water hose for his dog but this did not bother me'
