Welcome to Bad Driburg!
My place is located on the outskirts of downtown, right across from the city park with plenty of greenery and a small lake.
The city center, spa park, and train station are all just a few minutes’ walk away.
There’s also a city bus stop near the house that serves outlying areas of the city.
Despite its proximity to the city center and the moderately busy Mühlenstraße, the ground-floor apartment (70 square meters) can be described as quiet, a fact further ensured by the high-quality soundproof windows.
IN DETAIL:
I have tried to design the LIVING ROOM [20 square meters] to be both stylish and practical. The genuine leather sofa set serves as a cozy seating area for up to 4 people during the day, but can also be easily converted into a bed with a sleeping surface (1.25 x 2.00 m) for sleeping.
In addition to a coffee table and cabinets, there is a large, brand-new TV with satellite reception, a receiver, and a collection of movies on DVD.
“Alexa” makes radio, your favorite music, and information all possible!
The large terrace is directly accessible from the living room, where smokers are, of course, welcome to smoke.
The DINING ROOM [10 square meters] features a round table with seating for 4, as well as a sideboard and a bar stool. A high chair (provided) can be set up for toddlers.
Through the large window, you have a view of the green lawn and the entrance to the city park across the way—just 20m from the property. Here you’ll find peace and shade in the summer. The park also offers a place for dog owners to walk their pets.
By the way, there’s a café about 100m away that attracts visitors from far and wide every day thanks to its excellent, affordable cakes!
The SECOND LIVING ROOM [10 square meters] can be used as a children’s room, a study, or an additional bedroom. It features a cozy (sleeper) sofa, a cabinet with a printer, books, and more, as well as a writing desk with a comfortable armchair for working—for example, on a laptop.
The room also features an additional sink with a mirror cabinet to take some of the pressure off the bathroom.
The BEDROOM [14 square meters] features a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 meters) with two nightstands, a wardrobe, and a sideboard with a large TV on top. The lighting in the room is pleasant and, in some cases, color-dimmable.
In the KITCHEN [7 sqm], you’ll find a compact set of all the latest kitchen appliances:
stove + range hood + microwave + dishwasher + fridge-freezer + toaster + coffee maker + electric kettle.
The cabinets contain all the accessories needed for a fully equipped kitchen, so nothing stands in the way of cooking, frying, and baking your favorite dishes.
The BATHROOM [4 sqm] is small but functionally equipped. In addition to the standard toilet, it features a sink with a mirror cabinet + 2 additional cabinets, as well as a state-of-the-art “rain shower.”
In addition to the bright ENTRANCE AREA with a shoe cabinet, the HALLWAY [5 sqm] is also worth mentioning. Here you’ll find the coat rack, a dresser with a mirror, and an “iPad”—the control center for the automatic operation of the blinds & lighting, which eliminates the need for manual operation day and night and also serves as a burglary deterrent.
The “iPad” features useful information about attractions in Bad Driburg & the surrounding area, and it will also have games installed for entertainment...
