'Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. 'Beautiful pool, private beach and views of Muscat. The room was clean and very comfortably with the possibility to re-fill glass water botles. Also an added bonus was the shuttlebus the hotel offers to a few of the highlights. Everyone was also very friendly and helpful. Wr just really enjoyed our stay. '

'Best een goed hotel vlakbij het strand. Alleen het ontbijt was niet inclusief en kostte 15 euro pp voor een mager veelal Indiaas ontbijt. Waarom was ontbijt niet inclusief in kamerprijs?
Zwembad ligt binnenin het gebouw en ligt dus 80% van de dag in de schaduw....niet comfortabel en koel.'

'Wat hebben wij ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf. Een prachtig hotel, heerlijk eten, geweldig zwembad en goede faciliteiten. Oog voor detail en de kleine dingen die er werkelijk toe doen. Je gaat liggen aan het zwembad, er komt direct een koud flesje water. Heerlijke lounge met lekker muziek. Alles is gewoon WAUW! 'This was my 2nd stay at Al-Madinah. Again it is off the beaten path in a construction contractor area. Then again Muscat does not have an entertainment area of bars, discos, restaurants like other countries. Thus with the exception of the mall hotels few to nothing is walkable. This hotel give a great price for those of you who already have malls at home, so the mall hotels are really not special to you.
