Bathroom light and electrical outlet was regulated by the outside switch that regulated the overhead in the refrigerator, a condition that inconvenient and potentially disruptive to someone sleeping. General lack of access to electrical outlets. The toilet often required two flushes to completely remove content. Shower resulted in fluctuations between hot and multiple episodes of cold. 'We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The junior suite was spacious, clean and provided a view on the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and cool boxes are available to take to the beach. There is also a jacuzzi and small pool. Overall, a great stay in a quiet area of Maui.'

'It was our first time to Maui. This resort is 10 mins from the airport and is a beautiful & clean resort. The staff is very warm, welcoming, friendly & professional. We were there for our grandsons basketball tournament. You can arrange for VIP shuttle to & from the airport unless you rent a car. You will not be disappointed. Mahalo...we will definitely be back!!'

'Nona Lani Cottages are cute cottages in a wonderfull garden setting. The beach is just across the road. The owner is a lovely lady who is friendly and very helpfull. I like that it is a local business and not part a big company. If you are looking for privacy, amazing flowers, and some nice relaxing time, the cottages are a great choice. '

'The cutest hotel in the perfect location on Maui! Close to lots of local cafes and restaurants, and the beach was maybe a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was super cute and tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Maui!'

'Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft'
