    De Honeyholm is een 400 jaar oud huisje dat nestelt in de Strathendrick-vallei naast het Loch lomond en Trossachs National Park. gelegen in een prachtige omgeving aan de rivier met een prachtig uitzicht over open velden naar de heuvels van Dumgoyne en de Campsies.

    Slechts 1,5 km van het historische dorp Balfron is het huisje perfect gelegen voor toegang tot Loch Lomond en het Trossachs National park, evenals de historische zitplaatsen van Stirling, Edinburgh en Glasgow.

    De Honeyholm is onlangs gerenoveerd tot een uitstekende standaard; kom alsjeblieft in stijl ontspannen. Perfect location for us to visit family in a nearby village and Ian was friendly and responsive with any questions before and during the stay. Good sized accommodation in a beautiful setting.

What a wonderful stay we had. First class accommodation with stunning view. Felt like home from home. Warm friendly welcome we received from Ian when we arrived who had made us delicious fruit scones and left a bottle of bubbly chilling in the fridge. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Incredible views and perfect house for our family attending a weekend wedding. House was fabulous and plenty of space for eating, relaxing and sleeping for 6 people. Unfortunately due to lack of time we did not have an opportunity to use the wonderfully placed hot tub. Ian the host was very attentive and kind. A lovely part of Scotland we had never visited before. Would highly recommend

Loved our stay! great views out the back, perfect for the 6 of us staying for a wedding nearby. Easy check in and check out, and the scones left for us were delicious!

Die Unterkunft wird auch mit Tieren benutzt und das sieht und riecht man recht gut. Die Lage ist sehr schön, Natur pur. Der Whirlpool ist rege genutzt worden, zusammen mit der schönen Aussicht ein Highlight. Für Kinder gibt es Spielzeug und auch einen grossen Rasenplatz zum austoben. Die Küche ist ok, Platz für 8 Personen eher eng. Das Sofa-Bett war etwas hart, aber man kann in der Stube recht gut schlafen. Bäder sind recht ordentlich. In der Nähe (Balfron) gibt es einen Tankstellen-Shop (neu und sehr gut ausstaffiert) und einen Coop (alt und eher dürftig ausstaffiert). Das Cottage ist für eine Familie mit nicht allzu hohen hygienischen Standards gut geeignet.

Me and the family had an amazing stay at this cottage. Perfect for everyone, lots of space and very clean. Hot tub was amazing with beautiful views to unwind and relax. And of course the host Ian was amazing, scones left were a lovey touch.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at this cottage. It was clean and extremely comfortable and the views were spectacular! Our host left us the most amazing scones and a bottle of wine which we all thought were very good. The scones were absolutely delicious The beds were extremely comfortable and the log burner and hot tub added some extra delights. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to stay again. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Family Wedding in Fintry

Everything about this rental was made easy by the owner excellent communication and welcome.... including scones👍 The house was lovely and the hot tub and views perfect...even in January. A warm and cosy stay perfect for our girly break.

Fantastic spot!

What a great location. Next to the river with views south to the Campsie fells. Lovely garden for the dogs while we relaxed on the deck in the evening sun and soaked up the view.

Perfect getaway

We stayed here with family and had a lovely relaxing time taking in the views and enjoying the accomodation. Ian was a brilliant host, excellent communication, very helpful and friendly. The cottage is lovely and the perfect place for getting together. Thank you for a great holiday, we would most defintely come back.

Relaxing stay

Ian was absolutely wonderful, made our stay so enjoyable. Helped us navigate Glasgow, scones and wine were much appreciated after a long day of travel. Communication was great, we did not need to worry about a thing. Beautiful location!

Fantastic Holiday Destination

Great place to stay. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was excellent with a spacious living area, well furnished kitchen. All the bedrooms were spacious, clean and modern. All the facilities were top notch and above all the location and views were absolutely stunning. We can’t wait to go back, our granddaughter has called it her “new house!”

Peaceful respite

Our extended family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the space, view, and amenities at this home. The creek view is unbeatable and the hot tub and spacious yard were perfect for our teens. Ian is an excellent host who provided his famous scones upon arrival and checked in with us throughout our stay, providing tips for the rest of our travels around Scotland.

Absolutely stunning!!

This home is spacious, comfortable and in a beautiful location with easy access to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The host Ian was warm and friendly and went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were comfortable. He even stayed up late to make sure we got in ok after a change in travel plans. Would highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful Cottage, beautiful surroundings

We spent 3 nights in this wonderful cottage. The property is exactly as listed on vrbo. Ian, the host, was very helpful and the home-baked scones were a very nice welcome surprise. The cottage is surrounded by pastures with lots of sheep and cows, and the views from the living room, hot tub and master bedroom are wonderful. Vey convenient for exploring the Loch Lomond area.

Family reunion

Ian was welcoming, and the property was as stated. Nightly fires rounded off our days. Ian’s suggestion of Coffee at the rugby and bowling club was fantastic, as we were entertained by a local bowling league encounter.

Cottage and owner delightful

4 days with the amazing view of the Campsie Hills and river Endrick. Had friends and cousins to drinks also Ian the owner, the room was perfect for entertaining as well as the 5 of us. Lots for children which we did not use (no children)
