'We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run...

'Loved this cute little basement apartment for our stay at Harpers Ferry! Parking was a little tight but at least there was parking. The room still smelled new and beds were so comfortable! Only issue was the upstairs neighbors decided to run their water starting at 5:45am and the water pipes were very noisy in the basement! It woke both me and my friend up… we tried to fall back asleep but gave up by 7 when it was clear they were not turning it off anytime soon. Other than that it was great! '

'We very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to the canal trail is wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. House is adorable. Kitchen could be better equipped. I bought a few extra coffee cups and left them for the next guests. '

'We had a wonderful stay! The house was amazing and perfectly located. We had an easy time finding parking and overall loved our time there. The coffee/keurig machine didn’t work properly but the tea selection was good enough that it didn’t matter much. We can’t wait to visit again! '

'Perfect size cabin. Lovely area. No WiFi on our last night but that could've been because of the weather. Nice fire pit, that was my favorite part of the day once we returned from our wanderings. Very peaceful. We would def come back.'

'3 Collage buddies in our 60's visited Harper's Ferry for an "active" get-together (hiking as it turned out). WE spent 2 nights mid-week and the house was great. Way more than we needed, but would be great for longer stays too. The house is completely as described - beautifully renovated while maintaining the look and feel of a 19th century home. Nice amenities and comfortable accomodations. Pretty close to the old, lower town which made it super-convenient.Jay communicated in a very timely...

'We had a great stay at the Rusty Rose! It was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. We especially loved walking across the street in the morning for coffee and donuts at the little bakery in town. Would definitely stay here again!'

'Stayed here for several days because my daughter got married in Falling Waters and reception was in Shephardstown. Very quaint house. We loved it. '
