'Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.'

'This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. 'The house was very clean upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and playing pool on a kid’s pool table. It was close the Harper’s Ferry. We also saw deer very close both days we were there, and we loved this!!'

'Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. '

'We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is perfect for exploring Harpers Ferry, within walking distance to everything. The cottage is well equipped, clean and cozy, perfect for a couples get away, would book again if returning to HF. The owner was very communicated, had well organized info for the stay and was easy to work with'

'My husband is a huge antique fan and this house has a lot. The location was nice and close to bigger cities but yet still far enough away. There was a lot of traffic noise but this could be due to the highway road construction. The owner was very tentative when we talked with her. It was also nice that it is pet friendly. If you are looking for an old farmhouse get away yet still close to modern amenities this is a perfect place to stay.'

'We had a very nice stay. There were a lot of bugs on the floors. Could have used some baking dishes. We left flour in fridge. There needed to have sugar, flour and things that people would need. When we have gone to other B&Bs places they would have things like that for people.Tried to log in on tv to use our account to you tube tv but didn’t have a code for Roku. Better access to the river from the house. People have a hard time going up and down.'

'Our family had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse! There was a space for every mood and interest- hanging by the pool, reading on the porch, listening to music in the den. This home was particularly suited to our family. My three sons stayed in the barn studio and had space to spread out or work remotely when necessary. Our married son and daughter-in-law had their own private suite over the den.Great fire pit with plenty of wood. Grill was clean with spare propane when needed. The location...

'We had a wonderful time in Frederick, Maryland. The house is lovely & clean. It’s very close to nice restaurants & shopping. It’s also conveniently located close to Gettysburg, PA. We didn’t bring our doggie, but it is pet/friendly, & has everything you could need like home. '
